Description

The EXO-AT960 Modular Motorcycle Helmet has evolved from one of the most popular Adventure Motorcycle helmets on the market, the EXO-AT950. Maintaining its high value (in addition to U.S. DOT Certification), ScorpionEXO has now added the latest ECE 22.06 Safety Rating, which requires a wider range of testing than the previous 22.05 certification. The EXO-AT960 can be used as a full-face ADV helmet with an external peak visor attached, or the peak visor can be removed for a more aerodynamic touring helmet. The oversized eye port is extremely wide for greater peripheral vision and downward visibility, and the modular chin bar can be conveniently flipped up. The internal drop-down Speedview sun-visor allows you to adjust to changing lighting conditions throughout the day. Additionally, the no-fog Everclear shield can be removed, and you can use the EXO- AT960 with goggles for off-road use. Three shell sizes made of Advanced Polycarbonate and dual-density EPS, result in a helmet that is light weight, strong, and protective. And for those who need to stay connected, the EXO-AT960 was specifically designed to integrate with the new EXO-COM BlueTooth Communicator Kit, while the large speaker pockets also make it compatible with many other com systems in the market. Whether you are cruising, touring, commuting, or adventure riding, the AT960 is equipped to handle any terrain!

  • Great, lightweight, and well-vented helmet for the $
Size: Large Color: Hicks Blue
Latest ECE-approved (2206; look it up!) standard which is rigorous. Comfortable, plenty of ventilation on a hot, 90°F+ day, and modular to make taking a drink of water easy. Integrated sunshade that, via a LH slider, drops down out of the top is nice while the modular chin locks firmly but moves well out of the way with no conflict when needed via a chin button then lifting. Plenty of ventilation... especially at the face. Matches my red, white, and blue equipment/gear, which is a bonus. Light, comfortable, and the sizing fit me perfectly via the chart. Great value that blows many less-featured $700+ helmets put the water. Wouldn't change a thing, honestly. ... show more

  • Pretty good helmet
Size: Medium Color: Kryptek Wraith
Been using this helmet almost daily for about a month now. Some points to note: * Helmet was tight for a day or so but has broken in nicely. Fits very comfortably and is by far the most comfortable helmet I've ever worn. My head size is about 7 1/4 and I have an oval type head. I got a medium and it's perfect. My wife is about a 6 3/4 oval and she got the small, which is a perfect fit after break in. *It's still pretty chilly for my morning commute up at 6000 feet in the mountains and the helmet is warm. I ride city to open highway every day for about a 60 mile roundtrip commute. Has a collar around the bottom of the helmet that keeps the cold air from coming in and works really well. Was 38 for one of the morning rides and stayed warm doing 65. 80 in the afternoon and didn't feel like I was going to overheat. *Cruising at 65-70 there isn't a whole lot of noise. I don't feel like I need ear protection. *Visors are really good. Good clarity and no notable fogging so far. Started to fog on me one day but then I opened the front vent and zero fogging after that. Visor stays in place with the cracked position which gives you more air in slower traffic yet still protects you from being hit in the face by bugs and such. However I had a hitchiker honeybee that almost crawled in through the crack lol. That could have been interesting..... *Weight is good. I don't feel like the helmet is too heavy. Used to ride a full face Harley helmet. It was quite a bit heavier and much less comfortable. *The modular flip up full face portion is really good. It is easy to use and makes putting the helmet on and taking it off much easier than a traditional full face. Stays put in the fixed positions. No wonkiness at all. Overall I really like this helmet. Bought one for me and one for the wife and she likes hers too. These helmets are a bit pricey, but you really do get a lot for your money and I think to get a better helmet you would have to spend 700 or more. For us it was worth the money. Excellent helmet!!! ... show more

  • Go up 1 size for fitting
Size: Large Color: Solid Matte Black
I liked how fast the shipping was. It is a tight fit for my head. I went by the “sizing chart” and ordered what I thought would be the perfect fit. The issue I have is the fit is pretty tight around the forehead area, and also around the mouth. Don’t get me wrong, this helmet does exactly what I need it to do, but if you go by the “sizing chart” and the measurements tell you you need a “Large”, I would recommend that these areas will be tight (around forehead and mouth). The Matte Black is awesome and so is the comfort of the helmet (for the most part). The “road noise” isn’t cancelled out, but my head felt a steady breeze while riding, and the helmet is pretty light in weight. Earbuds would fit too. This helmet is very “user friendly” I enjoy the modular aspect of this helmet, and that it’s user “ready” for the comms. The road noise “would probably be” reduced if you install the Bluetooth that is offered when you “purchase” the helmet. I did not purchase the comms just so that is known for people on the market for a new lid replacement. I live in Southern California, so the weather isn’t as extreme here. My head didn’t get overheated while riding midday afternoon, nor did it feel the cold of the night after 10pm. I really like the (included) sun visor and it helps with road glare or eye fatigue from the sun. Overall, I am happy with this and will give the helmet some time to shape to my head. Hopefully the tightness around my forehead will loosen up overtime. It is worth the money and shipping was extremely fast. The build quality is superb in my opinion as well. The liner is removable. Also, it comes with instructions for daily use, and for the communication system that can be purchased. I can also wear my shades while riding and it feels more natural. The visor also feels very stable and does provide eye protection from sun glare. The only reason I gave it a 4 star review is because of the fitment around my forehead and how close it feels to your chin. ... show more

  • Well made and comfortable. One major flaw though
Size: X-Large Color: Solid Gloss White
Very pleased with mine. Seems that they run a little smaller. I measured my head and bought large and was in middle of chart for a large but was way too tight. I returned and got XL.. fits great and very comfortable. Helmet is a little on heavier side compared to more expensive ones. Noneleless, very happy with functionality, visor and modular flip up. Love the wide view. I did notice that while I can see below great, this helmet has less upper visibility than my other helmet. Not a biggie but I have dual purpose bike and ride off road, is a little harder to watch for branches etc on trail. Update after many long hours of riding. Not thrilled about how liner attaches at forehead. after long ride or getting a little sweaty, liner sticks to head and comes unattached. It's easy to put back but I find that I now need to check and fix every ride. I really like the helmet but dropping it to three stars because of this design flaw. It's very annoying and easily fixable design issue. ... show more
