  • DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!
Style: Dry Skin Size: 12 Count (Pack of 1)
They fit the Schick head razor, but are very poor quality. I am bald, and shave my head frequently. In comparison to the actual Schick blades, these are a poor comparison. I have been using Schick for a number of years BECAUSE they last and I can shave my head and beard a number of times without cutting myself OR having razor burn. These razors do the opposite of all ACTUAL Schick blades do. Do not waste your money. The only reason I gave one star is because they fit the handle. ... show more

  • dont buy this. They arent real Schick blades
Style: Dry Skin Size: 12 Count (Pack of 1)
these are dull alibaba knock offs and SHOULD NOT BE BOUGHT by anyone looking for the shave youd get with a real Schick hydro 5-bladed razor. At least I was able to return the ones I didnt use and get a full refund but I would rather have not needed to waste my time and have my last shave result in painful hives, infected cuts and irritated skin from a dull razor. Style: Dry Skin Size: 12 Count (Pack of 1)
I have never wrote a review and I buy things on Amazon all the time. I saw a few other people write reviews that said that these blades were not shaving as well as the originals that came with their Schick razor. I bought these because they were a few dollars cheaper. They did not come in a box which makes me think that they may be returns or expired(if that is possible). What I do know is that these blades do not shave as well as the originals. I shave my head almost everyday and these were giving me razor burn from the first time that I used them, which is very unusual because new Schick Hydro 5 blades usually work wonderfully. I returned and bought the original ones that come on a box for a few dollars more. ... show more

  • Excellent System for the Face, not so great for Manscaping.
Style: Dry Skin Size: 8 Count
The Schick Hydro 5 Razor Blade Refills are a great product. The most significant disadvantage to these blades is, of course, the price. These blades are expensive. You're basically paying 31 / 8 = $3.80 for each blade. General blade degradation requires replacement every two weeks. So you are spending 3.80 / 14 = 27 cents each time you shave. A 27¢ shave. But the Hydro 5 works really well for shaving a face. When shaving the sides of the face and jawline, the flip trimmer remains closed. With five blades, each stroke gives a very close cut while the back guard prevents any nicks or cuts. The moisturizing line is the last point of contact and soothes the face. When shaving areas that require precision, such as under the nose, the flip trimmer can be folded back. Now the back guard is not in the way and you can get to hard to reach areas for the perfect shave. One downside to the Schick Hydro 5 is that it is not suitable for manscaping at all. For chest or pubic areas you are much better off going with a double blade system without the guard such as Gillette Sensor Men's Razor Blade Refills, 10 Count, Mens Razors / Blades . Overall, I find great value in these blades and I will continue to use them. This is a loss lead product for Schick though, you get the initial razor for under cost and Schick recoups over time by selling the refills. But at 27 cents a shave, there is still strong value here. Just don't use these for any areas other than the face. Recommended. ... show more

  • Gillette user converts to Schick!
Style: Dry Skin Size: 12 Count (Pack of 1)
I love Gillette blades. Sure I get nicks and cuts the first couple of uses with new blades, and yes the blades are so close together that they are difficult to clean. But I really like how they feel. Unfortunately, judging by their cost, Gillette blades must be made from pure Unobtantium. So I decided to give Schick a go, and I’ll be honest, I didn’t care for the feel. It wasn’t bad, just different in a way I didn’t like. But after my first shave I noticed something: the shave was just as close as Gillette but no nicks or cuts. And the Schick blades seemed to deliver a good cut for a couple days longer than Gillette. I quickly got used to the razor’s feel and have been a Schick user ever since. I recently got a Schick shaver with a new handle design that has an extra pivot point, and WOW what a difference! Same blades, better feel and an even better shave. There are a couple spots on my oddly misshapen face that every shaver, blade and electric, has struggled with. The new Schick handle does the best job on this area, I don’t need to go over it as much and I almost never get nicks or cuts even with a new blade. ... show more

  • I think they are better than Gillette
Style: Sensitive Skin Size: 8 Count (Pack of 1)
As a vine participant I had a chance to review a Schick razor. I had only ever used Gillette razors up till then faithfully buying every new version they introduced, I'd hate to think of the money I spent. So I tried this Schick and realized that they were actually better and cost less. I think Gillette costs more to pay for marketing I really have never seen an ad for Schick. I shave both my head and face unless I'm in a beard phase and they work well for both. Each blade has roughly the same life as the other brand so they are a great value. ... show more

  • Best disposable razors for sensitive skin.
Style: Dry Skin Size: 12 Count (Pack of 1)
I've tried so many disposable razors in the last 20 years. If you have sensitive skin like me, you've probably experienced a lot of razor burn as well. I started shaving around the time when twin blades were the pinnacle of shaving technology. Here we are at 5 blades! Adding more blades doesn't necessarily equal a better shave though. These razors have added some quality of life improvements that actually make a difference. The blades themselves are sharp and tend to last through quite a few shaves. The actual number will of course depend on how course your facial hair is. 5 blades=less strokes=less razor burn. For me it has completely eliminated that itchy face feeling I dreaded. On the blades they include this moisture activated gel stuff that really helps lube your face. For me, when that stuff is gone, it's time to change heads. You can also flip part of the head up for a single blade trimmer for detailed work. Good stuff. The other thing I love is the handle. It's feels weighty and premium and has a locking pivot to help get around your chin. Lock up the blade when you're shaving flat areas. All in all I've been using these blades for a few years and I finally get a comfortable shave with no toilet paper stuck to my face after. I don't really see how the shaving industry could improve on the design unless they send a barber to your house for a personal shave. Maybe we should be watching for 6 and 7 blade heads soon, I dunno. ... show more
