I have a pretty thick beard. I used this to try to cut my beard but the blades clogged pretty fast. I ended up using a single razor to cut it off which was easier. But I followed with this razor and it cuts really close. I like triple blades best for reducing the number of passes without struggling with clogged blades. This set did not disappoint. Update: I have now changed to five stars since my original review was written. I have gotten used to these blades and learned that I need to hold the handle at a slightly different angle than with my other razor. I even used this on my head with zero nicks. This will be my razor of choice going forward. Maybe I'm just used to 5 blades, but these are too sharp and have caused several cuts. Don't get me wrong, the hair comes off with ease. Just be prepared for some cuts along the way. I keep my head shaved but I am not brave enough to shave my head with these. Face only so far. ... show more
