The tank was not in stock when I paid for it it wasn’t brought to my house until 2 weeks later but it was worth the wait the freight company did not give me any help at all However I really appreciate that Walter from SC aquarium company was really nice and very helpful with all the things that went wrong through Amazon I was super happy with the tank and it was very well made and other than no directions for the plumbing kit 1 phone call and I received it from the company I built the stand from scratch to accept my sump and my ATO AND MY ELECTRICAL and they didn’t say it comes with a lever mat but it did I called other company’s to see what they would charge for the same tank and they were much more expensive I highly recommend this tank for anyone who wants a clean set up and not just a big tank Thanks again to everyone at SC AQUARIUM ... show more

Beautiful strongly built tank with the Best price I could find online for this size tank and they delivered it through a company frontline freight, which brought it right to my house and they had a lift gate even tho I didn’t pay the extra for that only thing I don’t like is the overflow holes go to low so the water level ends up being like 3 inches from the top but I just have the plumbing inlet going higher to the water level I prefer and it’s fine now, I do plan on adding a few cut pieces of plexus glass and gluing them from the inside blocking the bottom of the slits a little tho so that it’s actually at the water level I prefer and it skims the top layer of water the correct way ... show more

Great tank, I purchased in Feb 2019. Beautiful Glass. I wish I could afford a second one. I would warn everyone that with the thick glass it is extremely heavy, I ended up hiring 4 movers to lift it off the pallet and onto my tall stand, my wife and I could not do it ourselves. Only negatives to comment on are: 1. I've noticed the overflow box isn't completey sealed so water drops below the overflow line within the tank itself. Not a huge problem, very small leak. 2. I had a bulkhead nut break apart recently while I was adjusting flow on one of the drain PVCs, terrifying at the time but I assume it's because I overtightened the nut initially in 2019. Just a heads up for people to have extra 1inch diameter bulkheads and nuts handy. Unfortunately it took me an hour dealing with leaking water (see #1 above) and flex tape to realize I had a spare bulkhead of the same size. ... show more

Well built unit with heavy grade glass. Very nice aquarium at a good price. Shipping was reasonable and did not take long to reach me. Have help to unload for this thing is HEAVY. I recently purchased the 130 gal aquarium. Glass is fantastic, very thick, and nicely machined edges. Looking over my new purchase I realized that the wier box is off center by more than an inch and half which seems odd. I’m a little nervous to fill if the quality control is that sloppy.

    • I love this aquarium
It arrived on time and undamaged, other than 2 little tiny scratches on one of the corners, but you would never know they were there if you weren't looking for them. It has been set up and water running through it for at least a couple weeks now. No leaks or anything of concern at this point. The plumbing provided was adequate to get everything set up using the herbie system. I'll be reaching out to SC aquariums to see if I can get a cover for the overflow box and/or a lid for the aquarium so nothing decides to commit suicide when it is time to add some fish. All-in-all, a great experience from my purchase. Also, the backing is completely black if you are unsure from the photos.
