I bought these to replace the stamped aluminum wings that come with the saw stop. It takes a helper and a bit of work to get them in and flushed up with the rest of the saw, but definitely worth having.

I bought this cast-iron wing to upgrade one of the stamped ones that were supplied with a Rigid 4560 (equivalently a Delta 36-725 T2) table saw. It’s heavy (I estimate it at over 40 pounds) and very nicely machined. The extra weight adds stability to those saws. The holes on this don’t line up with those on the table-saw rails and main table, so some drilling and hole widening is required on this. But some cobalt drill bits and a high-speed deburring bit on a die grinder easily take care of that. Highly recommended. ... show more

    • This is a beautifully machined cast iron extension wing, but I can't use it.
Really well made and machined cast iron extension wing that is made for 4 bolt attachment configurations, NOT 3 bolt attachment. The castings under the wing make it impossible to drill for a center hole, making it not suitable for 3 bolt saws. I wish there was some mention of this in the product description! And I wish they made a 3 hole mounting configuration that could work with my Dewalt 746 saw, because for the price, this extension can't be beat! Oh, and Todd is correct, the size is really 27" X 12", NOT the 28" x 13" listed in the product details. ... show more

    • Well built and flat. Improved my craftsman table saw's performance.
Added both wings and a Vega pro fence to my craftsman table saw. The wings bolted on to the original holes on my saw. One wing needed a shim to level while the other wing was level with my saw. The added weight really adds stability and removed any vibration. The added surface area ( I kept the oem wings, just added them to the ends of the sawstop wings) has made my saw a pleasure to use. The first thing I did when I unpacked it was to check flatness. With a reliable true straight edge across the length of the piece, I found it to be very visibly cupped. That daylight showing under the straight edge was a heartbreaker, as I’d been eager to mount this to my saw. I could even see the cup by merely sighting down the edge of it. It also arrived with several dings and gouges on the corners and edges. Sending it back and putting my old stamped steel wing back on. ... show more
