I've been getting my nails done professionally for about 15 years, and as the economy worsens, prices go up. I was always interested in gel nails and when I first came across someone doing their nails with a gel kit this way, I was immediately interested. I don't like using acrylic on my nails anymore, so I wanted to switch to something softer. The drill is great, I'm a complete beginner and I've learned to use it well, BUT MAKE SURE TO PRACTICE. It CAN cause serious damage if you are not careful and do not take the time to practice first. The tips themselves are sturdy and when I take my time and make sure to go through all of the steps, my set can last upwards of 3 weeks. Everything really comes included in the kit, makes it easy not to have to buy so much extra stuff. I’ve now done my nails about 3 different times. First time ( the second pic) is what anyone expects, not so much the best but after a little practice cutting, shaping, & doing my non dominant hand became easier. Got it while on sale. It is worth the money I paid. The nails are beautiful and strong the one that was on sale was long coffin I wish it was short though because I cut the shirt so it loses some of the shape I want. I am not skilled enough yet to shape them. It comes with the nail clipper to cut the nails which is awesome. It comes with the nail drill which is nice but it is not cordless but very good quality for the price. The light is fine for curing but not curing the nail on because of the shape you can't hold the nail and put it under the light. I already have a light so it doesn't matter but invest in a goose neck light with this kit save your self the struggle. I have had a couple nails pop off in less than a day but it was also my first time doing it so iam sure it is user error. Ooh I also invest in nail dehydrator and primer for best results. This is a great starter kit with lots of tips. Just invest in a few other items as mentioned to make it easier. ... show more

When I put my full set on, I had no issues. Then, the hand that I did that last started lifting. I keep in mind one hand did great no lifting and lasted two weeks . I gave it the benefit of the doubt that it was me. When I started to replacing the nails, the light would not come on. I reached out to customer service, they didn’t address the fact that the light was out, but accused me of not putting the nails on correctly and prepping. I then had to email them again reminding them that the light wasn’t working. They informed me that the light was not in stock and so they wanted to take 15% off the purchase price. I responded that I felt they should give me 50% because the products useless without the light and for the frustration of having to deal with this. Would you want to walk around with one hand completely finished and the other hand not finished? Personally, with all the hassle that I’ve had to go through a real customer service would’ve just given me the product refund. I’m not looking for anything free, but this has been a hassle to deal with. I had to go ahead and order another light because I couldn’t let my hand go and finished until they got this resolved. They still say they want to give me 15%. If I were you, I would go with another company. Yes the product is good however, customer service is terrible. The last thing you want to have to deal with is poor customer service when you have one finished hand and one hand that is not. I suggest that you go ahead and get a good quality light if you’re going to do your nails at home regardless of the product that you buy. You don’t want to be in the middle of a set and not have a light to work with. They are plenty of nail kits on Amazon. Go with one that has good customer service that’s worth it’s weight in gold. ... show more
