    • Nice, but be careful with pets and small children

I really like this coffee table, it went together easy and looks great. I've had it for about 8 months now and it's holding up well. Only one concern, the drawers slide very easy. I didn't think my cats would be able to open the drawers, they don't mess with other furniture, but the cats are able to slide drawers open and get in very easily. I've had to rescue a cat meowing inside the closed drawer a few times. Not a big deal now that I know to look for it, but I stopped keeping blankets in the drawers so it's not so inviting to them. I imagine toddlers would also be able to slide the drawers and it could be a pinching hazard for little fingers. ... show more

A bit annoying to put together but looks really nice. Love the drawers. Sleek and feels very sturdy. Only thing is that the wood grain print looks a bit odd… multiple people have commented saying it looks damaged or like there’s a stain but it’s just the wood pattern.

My husband assembled the table and he said that it was the best lay out and it was very well packed. By the packing you can tell that this company cares and thought of every details to make this table arrive safe. Also the instructions and lay out of each part are easy to understand because all the parts and screws were attacked to the areas of the table that need it. I originally bought this as an apartment warming gift for my son and his fiancee (she actually picked it out). Fast forward a year later they no longer like this style/color (they are 23) and want something different so I have it back and use it staging my listings because it matches any decor! The drawers come out making it much easier to lift and move around. It looks great in just about any room! I had it for a moment in my den and my cats like to crawl in the drawers! I got this on sale. 51% off and thank god I saw it when I did! Like most things on Amazon I didn’t expect it to be the best quality for a coffee table, but it is amazing. Everything came labeled, had all my screws, and the instructions were super easy to read. I think the only thing that was alarming was no extra screws, so if you lose one thing you are gonna have to sacrifice the integrity of the coffee table. The pieces themselves are thick not plywood or whatever. It only took me 45 minutes with being interrupted by my toddler multiple times. I do wish they offered this same type of coffee table in a longer version, but thats a personal preference. ... show more

The finish is ugly - flaws in whatever the original wood was are badly “disguised.” Definitely not a $300 table. Assembly was complex and not worth all the effort. When I finally got it all together, and attempted to slide the first drawer in, one of the drawer slides jammed into the one behind it (for the other drawer.) I am unable unjam it, and the table is now essentially worthless. At this point i’m ready to put it in the trash - but I can’t lift it ( I’m a 76-year old woman). If I had an axe, I’d chop it up. I guess the only alternative is to get out the drill and take it apart before it goes to the curb. If you’re strong and have the time to go through all the assembly steps and don’t mind not very attractive furniture, the buy the damned thing. Or, you can come to my house and take this one - for free. I have wasted a lot of money. ... show more
