I was VERY impressed with the quality and finish of this product. Very easy to assemble and install. It isn’t easy to tip and floats like a dream. Cannot speak to longevity yet, but I’m extremely impressed and feel this was a great price for the quality of materials.

The is the best swing!! We have had this swing for over a year now, my daughter (5) received it for her birthday. She just told me the other day, “this is my favorite swing and my favorite thing to do- swing on this swing.” She likes to get underdogs from me, her brother (2) can fit on it with her, and she can twirl it in circles like she likes. We have it hooked up under our tree with a durable strap going to a single hook so they can turn it in all directions. Easier to sit on than a tire swing and they even lay down on it. I can even sit on it with them. So much fun and well worth the price! The flags are super cool but cheap and the kids tore them up pretty bad so I’d just put them on for special occasions or don’t plan on them lasting. Also, under a tree and it still has faded a bit. It is still green and looks great, but I think it used to be a brighter green. I don’t let the leaves sit on it and I take it down in the winter so no snow sits on it. I’m so glad the water goes right through it so no water sits in it at all. Always dry when the kids want to swing! ... show more

This is a wonderful swing. Sturdy, well built, looks to be very durable. I think it will hold up well to grandchildren use. Here are a few other things that really impressed me: 1. The instructions were printed on 8.5 X 11 inch thick paper and were laminated. Heavy enough that the instructions didn't blow all over the place while assembling. The instructions were in english and only english. I didn't have to page through a booklet trying to find the english version. 2. Easy assembly. All the tools (including spare nuts and washers) were included. Easy to understand instructions. 3. Outstanding customer service! We had a small problem with one of the ropes being frayed a little. Contacted Royal Oak via their website email. They responded the next day and we received a replacement rope set at no charge within two days of contacting them. They communicated with us promptly and in a professional manner. I really like the Royal Oak Company and based on this purchase, will buy from them again. In fact, we purchased the Royal Oak swing strap kit via Amazon and the straps look to be a good quality, durable product also. ... show more

This swing is my happy place. I am a overweight housewife looking for a cozy swing to read to my child , entertain play dates, and also use myself. This swing is beautiful and very comfy ! Big enough for a couple kids , a child and an adult, or just 1 adult. It’s very sturdy however the 700lb weight limit is a bit of a stretch if I’m honest. I’m under 200lbs yet I see the bottom starting to sag after only half a day of use. This is what you need to know ... the item description says that everything is included to hang the swing... which I guess is true if you’re going to hang it from an already standing swing set or backyard play set but if you already had one why would you be shopping for a swing ?? ... I purchased this to hang from a sturdy healthy tree and out of the box with what is included is a bit of a disappointment... or stressful situation if your kids are eagerly waiting for you to hang it. The cords are extremely short ... if you intend to hang this from a tree you NEED the straps sold separately... 🙄 I feel like the product description is slightly mis leading ... I was very annoyed especially since this swing was already at the top of my budget and now I have to order the straps ... In order to save the day my bonafide redneck hubby managed to hang it with help from the trusty tow strap we use to pull the Jeep out of mud. I do not recommend this as a long term solution at all ... We will be purchasing the straps Royal Oak makes you buy separately to ensure the safety of our only son. Overall beautiful swing, great quality, comfortable, and a really neat feature to add to your yard but you NEED the straps ... this is preventing me from giving this a 5 star rating ... ... show more

So happy we purchased this swing! It was a big hit with all the cousins at Easter! Glad its rated to hold extra weight since everyone piled on. It's also very comfortable and roomy enough for adults. It has comfortable padding around the outside edge for your head to rest on or just to hold on to. It also comes with a cover. We opted for this swing vs some of the less expensive options because it held more weight and we felt it would hold up better to weather. This was the first swing we purchased to replace our Little Tikes Grow with Me Swing for our now 5 year old son. I was initially worried about safety since there is no way to strap him in but there are plenty of places for him to hold on and its wide enough to fit his whole body on safely. He absolutely LOVES it. The flags are a fun touch as well - they are colorful and have provided some amusement as they keep getting redistributed in different combinations.
