When I received this, it was bubble wrapped inside of a plastic (non-bubble wrap) Amazon bag. The button type thing on top of the umbrella was broken off and it also had an almost flower looking part made out of the umbrella type of material that acted almost like a washer or something for the plastic piece that broke off - it fell off too (sorry, it's hard to describe that piece). Anyway, if they'd used an extra layer of bubble wrap at the top then it probably would've been alright. Other than that, it's a nice umbrella and seems pretty sturdy. ... show more

It seems to be just like other umbrellas that are made that I have used in the past. It is a nice, bigger size which is nice to have since the smaller ones do not work as well keeping rain off. The outer rods do seem slightly flimsy so it may not work very well in the high wind. I have not used it yet since I just received it so I cannot say at this time how well it works (in rain and/or wind) but I will update my review, if there are any issues. They also give a sleeve that you are supposed to put the umbrella in to store but after taking it out for the first time and opening it I could not get it back in since it is not as slim now when closed, which is the only negative I can give at this time. ... show more

This golf umbrella collapses to a small size but has a very large coverage area. The shaft does not seem like it will hold up to heavy wind so I’d probably stick to using it in light rain. As the plan is to use on the golf course, I probably would be out in heavy wind anyway. Color is a nice blue and it expands and collapses easily enough. This makes a nice travel size. Comes with nylon sleeve. When I pulled it out to inspect. Took a few minutes to fit it back into the sleeve, but umbrella does work with a pop up button. Press the button and it opens up. Had the sleeve be slightly larger and come with a draw string, I think this would have been better because it seems like it could slip out of the sleeve if you're not careful. Also has flaps to help in windy conditions. Tried it out as with rain as soon as I got it but wind had passed by then. ... show more

This umbrella looks handsome with its blue on blue checkered pattern. It opens and closes easily with the push of a button. The umbrella comes with a matching sheath, but I was unable to put it back in the sheath after opening and closing the umbrella. It is a tight fit. A bit disconcerting is that when I initially took off the sheath, the decorative cap at the top of the umbrella came off. There is no real rain or wind on the horizon. Nice big umbrella, seems ok so far. The metal pieces seem a little flimsy, kind of like every other cheaper umbrella, so not sure how long it will last, probably a couple of years like all the others I have had.
