This electric go-kart is adorable!! Our 4-year-old couldn't wait to get cruising the driveway and sidewalks once it was built. Upon arrival, you'll have to attach the wheels and the steering wheel prior to usage, and don't forget to attach the red cable to the battery pack (I almost forgot that step). Once assembled and charged, it's ready for the kiddos to play! This go-kart is adorable, y'all. It has flashing lights on the steering wheel, rear tail lights that illuminate, and then allows them to select some music to play while driving. It has speed settings, and all of them are manageable. Your toddler won't be setting any speed records while taking this go-kart for a spin. It does have a safety strap (seat belt) to ensure your little one doesn't take a tumble out when making a turn. The flag on the back is also a great safety feature (along with the lights, bright yellow color, and audible sounds), as it's a visual indicator that there is a kiddo on a motorized electric toy coming your way. I love extra safety measures, even something as simple as a flag. Our 4-year-old thinks this is THE COOLEST toy we have! He asks to ride on it EVERY single day when coming home from pre-school, and takes great pride in keeping it pristine. While he's old enough to drive it without assistance, this does come with a remote that will allow for the parents or caregiver to control/steer it from a distance (BRILLIANT!).     • Cool features, but watch the wheels!

My kids are really happy with this car. At 2.9 miles per hour it goes almost a whole mile an hour faster than our old ride-on car! ha! The weight capacity is 50KG (110lbs), so even my 11-year-old can ride on this, which she still enjoys. It has a whole bunch of extra features too: 1. with the flip of a switch it goes in reverse 2. It has headlights and flashing tail lights. FUN! And also seems like a good safety measure if this gets taken out for a walk. 3. It has music from multiple genres and in various languages. Easy for kids to learn to turn on. 4. It does have a remote option for adults to assume control, but unfortunately, you have to take off the seat to flip a switch into remote mode. No big deal, even my 1-year-old had learned to drive this car after a couple of tries. You do have to put it together somewhat - attach the wheels, steering wheel and seat, but it comes with accurate instructions and the tools to do it. We also were not missing any parts. Cons: 1. This thing is heavy! For me, it is a lot to carry when cleaning it up. Not a deal-breaker, but it is heavier than our old single ride-on car. 2. It is also difficult to store because the wheel base is so wide, it takes up a lot of space. We have been considering storing it on its side to save room. But again, to do that, you have to pick it up, so the weight makes it a bit hard to work with. 3. Watch your toes! I was wearing sandals and my 11-year-old was on this. I bent down to give her a hug goodbye, and she accidentally hit the accelerator. ~100lbs ran over my big toe! It did not feel good. The wide wheel base means we'll have to be more careful to make sure no one is in the wide path of the car. We really like this car. I am torn between giving it 4 or 5 stars because it's fun, has cool features, goes faster than our old car, but it's heavy-weight and wide wheel-base are the reasons I have decided to go with 4 stars. ... show more

So far this go kart has been a ton of fun for our toddler. It was relatively easy to put together, just putting the axels, wheels, and steering wheel on. The controller paired easily and didn't have any issues, you just need the batteries as they are not included. The car has two speeds so it can go a bit slower for first time or younger riders, or it can go faster. Our toddler is a little over 2 and can't quite reach the pedal just yet but with the remote control we can do it until our toddler gets a little taller. It lights up and has a bunch of cool lights on the steering wheel. There is supposed to be music that you can play and it worked a bit at first but the buttons are a little difficult to press and it only plays sometimes. The stickers on the side are a little odd with a missing letter but its not a big deal. Overall this is a really fun go kart and our toddler loves it. Goes together super easily and includes everything you need to get it together and started. The only confusing thing is that the directions indicate there's a switch that allows for the remote or pedal control. However, there's no switch, the remote just works after pairing it AND the pedals still work as well. In other words, the remote is basically an override of the controls on the cart so that works great, but the directions need updated to indicate this is how it works. This is a good bit smaller than some of the other ride on cars, but still moves fine. The pedal might be a bit far for some kiddos but can put a pillow behind them on the seat and it works well. This is a great little go cart that our grandsons are enjoying. It goes well from concrete to asphalt to grass, never missing a beat. The steering wheel is intuitive, has flashing lights and several music selections. The cart is stable and I don't think it would tip over, max speed is under 3 mph. The cart is very easy to assemble. We watched the product video and followed along, putting on the wheels, seat panel, connecting the battery wire. The sound is a bit whining while running, there is a flag on the back to make the cart easy to see. The cart also comes with a remote that the parent can take over if need be. Our grandson is 4 and the cart fits him perfectly, the older one at 7 has longer legs but still fits well on the cart. A summer of fun ahead! ... show more
