They work, at least in central Florida soil. Putting on is easy, and just walk. After putting on stood up and stared at grass, how much pressure will it take to sink to plastic? Took a step and sank into soil with ease, no extra pressure needed, then just walked around. Plastic seem durable and straps thick so should also last a long time. With my soil the spikes entered and exited with easy so I don't see any extra tension that should cause to break prematurely. Recommend. ... show more

The shoes arrived on time. The shoes were very hard to snap on because you need to put them on while on a soft surface/grass as to not dull the spikes. I have a gut and getting to the straps were hard. Once on the shoes worked but I kept slipping from side to side on each. Thanks

My lawn is now healthy and thick. A lot of hard work but I was able to tell where lawn was packed the hardest. I worked on a section at a time. Lost weight and my lawn is beautiful. I did also use a weed killer for lawns.

Gerat idea but it need a stronger plate and stronger spikes… I am only 180lbs and they bent very fast… More heavy duty plate and spikes would make them more durable and appealing. I feel if I owned a company like this I would make them 90% unbreakable .. just 90% because we know nothing is 100% …

These are well built and sharp as heck. I'm not sure if it made my lawn better, but it's still early. If you're a believer in spike aeration, then these could be an option for you. Fit well on my size 11 shoes. I listened to the advice of others and did not step on any sidewalks. I looked a little silly sliding on the ground on my rear to get to the other side of the yard, but i did not bend any spikes. ... show more
