Well even thou the buttons and the stick are exelent quality, I still suck at street fighter T.T Jokes aside... I got this to upgrade my mayflash 300 so I will compare the components on the review. Buttons: so the mayflash OG buttons are good, they work fine and are durable enough, but they are too clackity, plastiky an loud, so loud that I had to do the foam mod and still were loud. Sanwa are better in every way with a noticeable difference. They are made of polymer (ABS), the switch is more smooth, smoochy and returns a little faster and has travel to react. 2. The lever: Mayflash leverworks. I cant say that is good, since it has a lot of play but is well made, cables are soldered to the stick. Sanwa lever is a beast... Has 0 play making it a little stiff to action the switches, it comes with a 5 pin port to connect it to the board which is awesome, but if you want to make some soldering a cable for that is included. The bad and the ugly: There are 3 reasons that I removed a star. 1 The description states that you can use it 4 way or 8 way, but the 8 way gate is not included. 2 the packaging was lame, they just throw the buttons on the box where the stick is, 4 button had a pin bend. An finally, sanwa please add the 5 pin cable, most of the people dont know soldering and if they knew and want to do it they can just cut the cable, I actually cant use the stick because of this. I went to all electronic stores in my area and they dont have this cable. Even thou it was a good purchase, if you want to upgrade I can't think in a better brand that sanwa. But if you are new and want to pla with an fighting stick, bet on the mayflash 300/500 elite that already has these parts instaled and safe the trouble. ... show more

Replaced a set of cheap clone buttons and arcade stick on my PiCade. The buttons are perfect, they are comparatively super quiet compared to the clone buttons. Joystick feels great. The only real negative I have on this is the 4 screws on the top of the joystick under the protective sheet are incredibly easy to strip if you have to remove them, so be careful of that. I can't fault Sanwa for screws they probably don't expect customers to have to remove. Once I got out the stripped screw, it has been an amazing experience. ... show more

I'm sure this is a wonderful product, but it is not compatible with XBox Series X Hori Fighting Stick Alpha. The joystick, when you use it to browse XBox menus, causes you to move twice for each action on the joystick. So you tap to the right, and it moves 2 places. It's like that going in every direction. Everything installed very quickly, how ever the joystick does not come with an octagonal restrictor plate, only the square restrictor plate. It would be nice if it did. I'm very pleased.

Bought this combo to replace the buttons and lever on my Qanba Drone 2. Great product, very noticeable difference after switching parts out. Taking one star off because of packaging, as one of the buttons has a chip in the edge that I noticed after installing. Checked the other buttons and one other button has a very small chip. Not sure if the seller neglected QC before packaging or if it was damaged during transit. Be advised, the box that the lever and buttons are packaged in is very thin and flimsy and barely fits everything. They wrapped it in small bubble wrap and shipped it in envelope packaging. The Qanba Drone has a bit of an atypical design, but this stick screwed right in. I clipped the adaptor off the stock stick and soldered / shrink-wrapped the wires from the JLF so that it would plug directly into the same headers as the stock stick. Overall took maybe 30 minutes to swap it out, highly recommend! ... show more

Order a separate 5 pin connector. The one that comes with is only has one side with quick connector. It shows that on the pictures of what you’re buying but for those that have never modded a joystick before you won’t realize you need it until you have everything apart. 4 stars otherwise would have given 5 since they look great and came nicely packaged. ... show more
