Good quality and a good price. It's never come undone yet. Take note, I use this leash on my foamie, not on my glassed board. It has no rail-saver meaning that in a rough wipeout, the leash can be jerked against the rear edge of the board and inflict damage to the rails or tail. I surfed for years without a rail saver and never had that happen but it's always possible, especially on bigger waves than the 1-5ft I called home. If you have a custom or hand-shaped PU glassed board that you laid some serious money out for, do yourself a favor and spend another $10 for one with the rail saver. Leash I was replacing had a swivel on the end near the board. Didn’t realize how useful that was until I went surfing with this leash and found my legs wrapped in the twisted leash multiple times. That is my only complaint, good quality cord, strong Velcro, and comfortable ankle cuff.

As much as I love Wavestorms for anything under 3’ Hawaiian, they have the worst leashes ever and they always end up snapping or the Velcro stops sticking and leaves me swimming in and picking up my board from the reef. This leash is a great replacement. Velcro sticks way better than the regular leash and I already ordered another one for back up. The real test will be after I’ve used it for a while but as of now, I love it. ... show more

I’ve only used this a few times on my paddle board but so far it’s been great! I love the softer support where the leash meets the ankle wrap. Would definitely buy again!
