This unit has an excellent picture. And, if you are getting it as a computer monitor, you will be quite satisfied. But, if you are getting it to be used as a television, you will not be happy with the audio and you will want a sound bar, bluetooth speaker, or amplifier and external speakers. I connected a Fugoo speaker using bluetooth and got satisfactory sound quality for use in my kitchen. But, without the Fugoo speaker, the audio is too quiet to be heard over the vent fan over the stove or typical cooking sounds. The poor audio forces you to add other components that detract from an otherwise compact, clean installation. One of the features that drew me to this unit was the USB Type C port that can be used to power other devices. I am using this monitor with a mini-PC that can be powered with USB Type C. And, I initially set up the monitor with the mini-PC using a short USB C to USB C cable to the mini-PC attached to the back of the monitor using velcro. This made a clean installation and worked, at first. But, despite the top power draw of only 12 watts from the monitor to power the mini-PC, it occasionally cannot handle the power draw and the PC shuts off - not good. To solve this problem, I had to ditch the USB-C power connection between the monitor and the PC and use the power supply for the mini-PC and the power supply for the monitor to power each device separately - which uses two outlets, instead of just one. So, to sum up, I was unable to achieve my goal of having a very simple, clean installation in my kitchen that uses only one power outlet and needed no other devices. I had to add the Fugoo speaker and I had to use both power supplies for the monitor and the mini-PC, as well as use a USB A to Micro USB cable to keep the Fugoo speaker powered up. Of course, my application influences my opinion. And, your application is likely to be different with different considerations. Considering only the monitor, it has a great picture, clear but inadequate sound, light weight, low power draw, it is easy to use, has good features, and it is a good value for its price. ... show more

Arrived a day later than expected but that was due to road conditions. The box the screen was in was slightly ripped open and scratched but luckily Sansui used really good thick foam and plastic for protection. The screen not being broken means this is the first TV or monitor ordered that didn't need sent back and replaced ordered from Amazon. The screen is pretty decent for the price. Color, brightness, Hrz is all great working order. I did have to tweak the settings here and there to remove some fps lag I noticed in-game. After the adjustments the screen was perfect working order. The curve is great for the small space I got the screen in. It's incredibly light. Theres no speakers so I made sure to order a cheap soundbar to pair with it anyway. The screen pairs well with Xbox, PC, switch, and a fire stick and gaming wise it's pretty good for 1440p. Noone mentioned that you can run 2 separate video ports at the same time at 1080p. Over all I'm happy about the screen at least for now till I can get the 49inch Samsung curved screen in a couple months ... show more

I've been looking at purchasing a 34" curved monitor for a few months now and have been comparing different brands across the market and looking for a good price point. This monitor ticked all the boxes - it had better resolution, refresh rate, response time, color range compared to many other curved screens. It is a beautiful screen with vibrant colors and I have been able to read small without eye strain. I find myself sitting back in my seat instead of leaning forwards since everything is much clearer than the 24" 1920x1080p monitor I replaced. It came well packaged and it was easy to set up. The monitor stand is easy to install into the back of the display - it clicks into place and there is no need to fiddle with screws or nuts and bolts. If you prefer to vesa mount - please be aware that the monitor has screw points for a vesa mount, but they are in a small circular recess that is intended for the monitor stand. You will need standoff screws or spacers in order to raise the screw points for a vesa plate. I am currently using the monitor with the stand, but will update when I swap to a vesa mount. Update: I have swapped to vesa mount and attached photos of my setup. The standoffs I used were 8mm-tall M4-sized screws. ... show more

I ordered two of these for my Alienware Area-51 R5 Desk top. I am blown away with the low price and the quality of the picture. I have 2 LG 34 inch monitors at work that I really like. However, when I checked the price on Amazon, they were very expensive. Plus the LG's are NOT curved. So for $219.00 each I bought these Sansui Curved Gaming Monitors. I am blown away.
