This monitor arrived well packed in a sturdy box with a handle on top, which is perfect for me since I plan to use it at a trade show and will need to carry it through airports and bring it with me as a carry-on. There's a spot for the parts--two piece stand, wall wart and cable and included HDMI cable (nice bonus!)--in the Styrofoam packing. I don't love the material, but in this instance it will be good protection, completely encasing the monitor. The screen itself is very light and quite thin. The two-piece stand is thoughtfully designed for tool-less assembly and it snaps into the back of the monitor easily. Metal components provide strength here--it seems very solid--and there's a plastic button to unlatch the stand for disassembly. The monitor fired up and works flawlessly with the Chromebook I'll be using it with. The resolution is good, but not great. It is more than sufficient for my needs, but I'm not sure it will become my new everyday monitor. I will try it with some other devices before I decide that. All in all I call this a real winner, for the price. Assuming it last some time--no reason to think it won't--it is an excellent, inexpensive, oversized monitor that I would highly recommend when portability and price are more significant components of your value equation than top-of-the-line resolution. ... show more

I was so happy with the first i bought, i went and got another one the following week. They are light weight but feel very sturdy and put together. Image is bright and clear and while im not a huge gamer- it looks so much better than my laptops screen did. Would buy again!

It has been almost 15 years since I had to purchase a new monitor. I ordered this 24-inch monitor and I am very pleased that I did. It was easy to install (I am not a tech person) and the results of the view on the screen is terrific. I have not tested it much but out of the box it had a foul smell, I could not really place it. However it was rancid! It arrived in good shape and everything assembled fine, I decided to use a wall mount and the recessed area of the vesa mount made me wish I had a kit including some plastic spacers it about a 1/4 inch recessed. Also all the screws I had to use from my wall mount were to long. The screen is matte and I'm good with that. I have only connected it to my samsung tab s7 tablet via a little hub that supports 4k 60hz, the monitor display say it is in 1440p 60hz maybe its downscaling I am unsure but I think the tab s7 only outputs 1080p. I'll connect it to my 4070 super via hdmi and dp cable later and update my review. I basically just bought it to sit at the foot of my bed screwed into the back of a dresser so I can watch youtube or stream a show now and again, only I get my dp cable I'll see if its worth using to play cod if I want to lay around instead of sitting at my desk. Well... I can't really complain, the monitor is affordable, it looks ok sitting at the end of my tiny bed, the hdr is worthless but thats ok, it says I am getting 180hrz with DP. The speakers are like bottle caps but they do produce sound in a pinch. I don't like the gaming function as far as the on screen aiming graphic its kinda big and kinda ugle. mI would buy one again. ... show more

When I bought this, I didn't expect it to be so big. This monitor was a gift for my boyfriend and it works extremely well for the price I paid. This monitor is amazing and if you're looking for something cheaper, this will do the things you need it to! It has great quality for gaming as well.

I have a dual screen setup with these 27” LED monitors with Debian Linux. I’m using HDMI, so refresh rate is limited to 144hz, but still 2k resolution. These are the best computer monitors I’ve used to date. I use them for business as a software developer and appreciate the crisp text. Color is also vivid with photos and watching movies. Fantastic monitor for the price. The imaging on fast motion games and sports is amazing especially when using the 100hz refresh rate. The monitor has excellent visibility when you are looking at it from the side and not direct on as well, no image fading or color distortions etc. That being said, there are a few things to consider with this monitor. The first is the included stand. Its huge and heavy, made from steel. The monitor itself is feather light. If you are not using a multi-monitor or some sort of monitor stand framework, then you need to have some space for the included stand as its bigger than any other 27 inch monitor I have ever worked with. The second thing to consider it that this monitor uses and external custom power supply, something that might be difficult to repair or replace in the future. I prefer monitors with a standard ac power cord that goes straight to the monitor. Not a deal killer but something to take note of. Also the monitor imaging controls are located on the bottom of the monitor and a bit difficult to work with and program. If you are going to use this is a multi monitor config, be aware the the bezels are thin, BUT there is about a quarter inch of black space on the screen when you actually fire up the monitor.. so you end up with a large gap of screen space when you frame to monitors next to one another. Serious bummer. Bottom line, awesome for the price, much better than I expected from a monitor of this price. I would definitely buy this again, but sadly not for multi monitor configs. Look at the photo. Thin bezels are deceiving. Really hope the come out with a curved version and/or a 4k version of the same monitor, priced right that would a hard deal to pass up.
