PROS: Folds to compact size, easy to extend/expand, large enough for 99% of the fish I will ever catch. CONS: Not as strong as a solid aluminum shaft net; flexible frame around net takes some getting used to; plastic folding mechanism at base of net seems like a weak point-I would have paid more to get a metal part here. BOTTOM LINE: This is perfect for me as I only use it a few times a year and, often fishing from a canoe or small fishing boat, I like that it extends fully into the water without too much of a reach. If I used a net frequently or length/transportability wasn't a concern, I would probably buy a net with a solid aluminum shaft instead. ... show more

As described and shipped fast! I use this to catch my chickens. It works great and I'm not as tired as if I had to chase them all around the yard...over and over and over... And it didn't harm them at all as the opening is large enough for my large rooster too.

The design of this net is very poor. The way in which the net is connected to the pole with one tiny screw is extremely weak and will not last whether you are catching butterfies or fish. The netting material itself looks OK. We are very dissapointed in this product and plan to return it for a refund ... show more
