  • Perfect For Trout
Color: No Telescopic Pole
Great net for stream fishing. I can't speak for saltwater fishing, I'm a trout nerd. It's collapsible and weighs less than a pound which makes it perfect packing in and out of the stream... or lake. The netting is a coated nylon which I prefer over the (now popular) full rubber netting found on far more expensive nets. I'm 100% barbless catch & release and this type of netting is not harmful to trout. It's winter here now and I've managed to use it twice so far since we have sections of tailwater that remain unfrozen most of the winter. I remain frozen but continue to fish. I've already landed a fair share of small-medium Browns, Bows, and Whitefish with it no problem. I'm confident that I could land a 20"+ hawg with it, and I will... just not during the last couple of sessions. The plastic clip is kinda janky and I'm gonna remove that. It might be a nice feature for some but I attach my net differently while wading. I don't own a kayak but I think the handle is sufficiently long to be suitable for that. Overall a nice little net that'll land every trout that most of the far more expensive trout nets can.... at a far better price. I have no gripes with this net. Surprisingly excellent quality for a lower tier net. Very much worthwhile. ... show more

  • Deep net
Color: Telescopic Pole
The strongest aspect of the net is that it is collapsible; and very easily so. The telescopic handle isn't as long as our regular one; this is just one and half the vertical of the net itself. But our regular one hangs out of our ice fishing sled, this one doesn't. It is meant for being relatively close to the fish out of the water; hopefully with someone else scooping it while you are holding your line taut. It has a deep net, and we can scoop 15-inch trout with this net with no problem. The netting itself is made of plastic stuff (silicon?) and is reinforced with cloth trim where it is sewn together. The handle pops into place from underneath the neck of the net to give it stability, though with a fish in it, you can feel the strain on the telescopic part of the handle. But then, the fish isn't meant to be in the net long anyways. However, there is a definite wobble to the loop from the handle from a good shake, so we don't know it's longevity. The best part that makes it collapsible is also its weakest part. ... show more

  • Sturdy, Collapsable
Color: Telescopic Pole
This is a nice little net to add to our sailboat. We really liked it because it folds up small for easy storage. But when it extends out it is nice and long, easily able to reach over the boat into the water, especially useful for our kids to be able to help. The metal arm feels nice and sturdy and the netting is thick and feels durable. It is easy to handle and maneuver. Looks like an excellent and sturdy net. The only thing is that it could be a little lighter, but I'd rather not risk losing integrity/sturdiness for that. ... show more

  • I don't fish...
Color: Telescopic Pole
I haven't fished in over 20 years, but when we started raising chickens for meat and eggs, a friend told me to get myself a fishing net because eventually, they would get out. I'm now in year 4 and this is my third net. I like that this folds up for storage. Honestly, the thing that does the nets in most is forgetting to put them back up in the shed. I've already used this net twice and it had no problems picking up 6-8 lb birds that did not want to be picked up. It's light weight, so my daughter doesn't mind using it. Seems pretty well made. I'm a little concerned about the telescoping pole but so far so good. ... show more

  • Portable folding & extending fishing net with one small flaw
Color: Telescopic Pole
This is a folding and extending-handled fishing net, perfect for all sorts of fishing - from onshore to boating to kayaking. The head of the next folds and unfolds easily to keep things compact, yet at the ready when needed. The aluminum handle extends with a twist and secures simply with another. A wrist loop and belt clip keep the net at your side. The overall size of the net is great for most freshwater and inshore saltwater fish. I love the rubberized netting, as it keep your hooks from catching in the net, however, in this design there are cloth seams holding the netting together - an ideal place for a hook to embed and cause trouble when landing your fish, or taking up valuable fishing time when trying to extract it. ... show more

  • Versatile and Durable: Rubber Landing Net
Color: Telescopic Pole
The Fishing Net Rubber Landing Net has proven to be a reliable companion for my fishing adventures. Its hook-resistant design ensures a smooth and efficient landing of various catches. The folding and telescopic features make it convenient to carry, while the durable rubber construction ensures longevity in both freshwater and saltwater environments. Whether I'm targeting trout, catfish, or bass, this net has handled the job with ease. The long handle adds to its versatility, making it a valuable tool for anglers, especially those engaged in fly fishing. ... show more

  • Better options available
Color: Telescopic Pole
The good: this net collapses to make storage much easier! The handle stores inside itself and the net flips back towards the handle. The hoop part of the net stays as is though. The net material has a rubberized coating which helps protect it from sharp scales and fins. The material is sturdy and the opening is large and will accommodate most freshwater fish. The bad: the handle is a thinner aluminum pole style. I can see it bending and breaking. The locking mechanism for the hoop part is plastic, which lends to concerns about long term use. The ugly: the pole extension mechanism needs a lot of help. It doesn’t unlock or lock easily. The pole doesn’t slide in and out without some force. I can see this being an issue on the water in key moments. It’s an ok net. There are better options out there. ... show more

  • Compact and strong
Color: Telescopic Pole
I have been using this for fishing on my small boat. I am have happy about this net because it's very compact and fits well into my boat storage. The net can be quickly folded out and locked into place. The extension is easy to twist and lock and stays extended. The net is very light weight, but also is very durable. I also like that it has a safety cord to hold around your wrist and doesn't fall into the water. The netting is very strong and has a good rubber coating on it which makes it feel sticky which is great for slippery things. ... show more
