As a 50s female that puts over 150hrs a season on a 22Yamaha FX cruiser (majority are alone offshore) so I tend to carry fair amount of gear and this fits perfectly in bow storage w/my anchor(also sandshark SPORT) and other misc emergency items. These guys make a fairly priced reliable product time and time again. So yes im 100% a repeat buyer w them. Even fully extended these paddles are extremely short and the blades are not wide enough. Love the bring color. But I would opt for a collapsible kayak paddle instead in the future. You might have to lean over more, but at least you'd be able to dig in faster and not risk missing the paddle when you have to transfer hands. MIGHT be helpful in an emergency, but I wouldn't want to depend on it. ... show more
