Sand shark you have created the ultimate PWC anchor!! Love the design, the interlocking pieces are genius. Gives you a taller anchor while still being easy to store in my SeaDoo Sparks storage compartment!! The color makes it easy to spot. This easily held our 2 SeaDoo spark 3-up’s without flinching!! 05/09/19 Update: on my last trip out one of the post sections broke!? I Love this anchor but now I’m concerned about it’s life expectancy. I’ve had a few different anchor types and have to say for my ski this has been great. Sturdy plastic, easy to store, and the bright color makes it easy to spot. The one thing I don’t like about it is also what makes it so portable is how it breaks down. It’s nice you can make the anchor longer or shorter by using only certain pieces. However, when you pull the anchor up you may find it hard to breakdown as the sand gets trapped in between the tabs and make it hard to pull apart. ... show more

I have a tritoon on a bay in Lake Michigan. On occasion we'll go to a sandbar where we'll anchor off our bow. Friends with bow riders or ski boats have used 2 anchors in this scenario in order to stop the boat from moving at the stern in an arc from the bow anchor. Some recommended an anchor like this one that didn't come apart. I liked the fact that it came apart so I can easily store it in my anchor well. First, the sections tend to stick, so I've now sprayed them with silicon at the connections (haven't used since so don't know if this will help) so that they'll come apart easier. And second, if the lake isn't perfectly flat with no wave action, this anchor will typically work it's way use. I've used a spring line to connect it to my boat. ... show more

Works like a gem the first couple uses. After not so much. The sand destroys the blade no matter how good you clean if the sand gets stuck where the releases are I would buy the all aluminum one for an extra hundred dollars like we ended up doing not saying this brand is a bad brand. This particular item is bad very happy with our aluminum one takes up a little bit more room than I want on the ski but it does its job, I ended up giving the one to a gentleman on the boat because I could not break it down and put it in my compartment. But they’re bungee and everything else works perfect except this particular plastic anchor. If you’re going to do it spend that 250 bucks and do it right. Or if you don’t care about it breaking down you still have an issue with the nose and the Sand eating it up. ... show more
