Love this design. Works great in sand when in shallow water. Keeps the PWC very secure. The only flaw is you need to keep a screwdriver with you to pry them apart, because the sand glues the pieces together. Otherwise, I would have given 5 stars.

Works like a gem the first couple uses. After not so much. The sand destroys the blade no matter how good you clean if the sand gets stuck where the releases are I would buy the all aluminum one for an extra hundred dollars like we ended up doing not saying this brand is a bad brand. This particular item is bad very happy with our aluminum one takes up a little bit more room than I want on the ski but it does its job, I ended up giving the one to a gentleman on the boat because I could not break it down and put it in my compartment. But they’re bungee and everything else works perfect except this particular plastic anchor. If you’re going to do it spend that 250 bucks and do it right. Or if you don’t care about it breaking down you still have an issue with the nose and the Sand eating it up. ... show more

I purchased two sand anchors for use with my 19 ft center console bay boat here in Tampa Bay. They work exactly as advertised and I’m very happy with the design and functionality. Unfortunately, one of the sand anchors cracked while using it for the second time and won’t snap together properly. I’m hoping Sand Shark will replace the anchor since I want to keep using the pair to anchor my boat at the many sand bars in the Tampa Bay Area. Overall this is a high quality product and I hope the durability issue is an isolated incident. ... show more
