  • It is FAST, tiny, and well designed. (Writes on average at 35-48 MB/s and reads at 130 MB/s)
Size: 64GB
SPEED: MUCH Faster than I anticipated considering they refuse to list the write speed anywhere. (130 MB/s Read // 45ish MB/s write) I looked all over the internet to try to find out how fast this drive writes because it isn't listed anywhere. So here you go, it seems to max out around 48 MB/s but you end up averaging around 35-42 MB/s depending on the file type. That's really fast for such a tiny little drive. It's even significantly faster than my huge Corsair Flash Voyager Slider 32GB USB 3.0 drive which writes at around 32-35 MB/s. The read speeds are a very fast 130 MB/s just as advertised. I loaded a 1080p video onto from my Windows 8.1 laptop and plugged it into my phone. I was able to stream the video directly off the USB stick without any glitching, slowing, or stuttering. Transferring the file to my phone also did not take very long. Size and Design: TINY. It's not as small as the Kingston 64 GB Data Traveler Micro Duo (link below) but it is 2-3 times faster, and has a more protective design. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00LIXJ54K/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 The build seems pretty good. The slider works well and it locks into place to prevent the connectors from going back in while you use it, and they lock into the "protected" position pretty well, which should help prevent the pins from getting bent or damaged in your pocket. The connectors also stick out far, which is GREAT, because it makes it easy to stick this thing into your phone even if you have a big bulky case that makes the port hard to reach. The little silver handle part also slides easily onto your keychain, but I think it may be plastic (I could be wrong), which may not hold up in the long run. I'll update this review if it breaks because many of these USB sticks have cheap keychain attachment sections that break over time. I'm hoping it's metal (the Kingston one is metal). Functionality: It works! I tested it with multiple different file types on my Windows 8.1 laptop as well as on my Samsung Galaxy S5 Android smartphone and it worked great and easily with no hassle and no installation. Plug and play. Overall Conclusion: Fantastic and definitely recommend! $36 bucks for a 64 GB USB 3.0 that is tiny, very fast, and also easily connects to my Android smartphone (Samsung Galaxy S5). Can't beat it. Caveat (If you don't care much about write speeds, the Kingston 64 GB Data Traveler Micro Duo costs almost half as much (at around $22) and reads just as fast. If you don't like waiting around for files to transfer, (and if you're getting a 64 GB usb stick, you probably intend to make some big transfers) you're going to be happy with this. Keep in mind, there are much faster USB 3.0 flash drives available, but they tend to be much bigger, and don't have the dual OTG functionality. ... show more

  • Not as Flimsy as many reviewers claim
Size: 64GB
After reading all the negative reviews especially about build quality, I was afraid to buy this product but there wasn't any real alternative so I went ahead and bought it. I must say the slider does feel a bit flimsy but its just a matter of how we use our devices. Maybe Sandisk could have made it a bit sturdier, nonetheless it was worth every penny. Immediately after first use I realized that there is a little trick to sliding out either port out or back in. You must press down a little on the button when sliding out and it will be a little smoother. Likewise when sliding back in you definitely should press down the button or the slider seems to jam. I believe this is intentional as a mechanism to prevent the device from accidentally closing or closing unexpectedly while it is been inserted into the usb port of a PC or mobile phone. Once you get the hang of this you will see that this is a great little device. There are a lot garbage being sold everywhere on the Internet including amazon, however I believe some reviewers just complain too much about everything. As for the speed well read speed is about 120-130 MB/s and write speeds average about 25 MB/s. Thats fine with me and even though its usb 3.0 and one would expect more, you will not get much difference from other manufacturers no matter how much they claim in their advertising. I am satisfied with this product and recommend it. ... show more

  • Must have for the traveling professional, simple, fast, dependable, and tiny - also AMAZING for photo sharing - SO FAST!
Size: 64GB
This is a wonderful little flash drive - incredibly useful! I do a lot of work on the road, where I am transferring files from my computer, to hotel business center computers for printing, to my phone for sending when I don't have internet, and this little thing is a huge timesaver! I have all those apps and premium programs that are made to do all those things over the internet, but even when I do have internet, I'm often frustrated with the amount of time it takes, or that a file I just saved and uploaded on my computer isn't showing up yet on my only cloud application on the printing computer, or a file is too large to upload... It's always something. I do that sort of thing all the time and so I pay the for the premium products to make them work, and since I've gotten this, it has saved me so much time, so many headaches, and so much frustration - which equals money, because when I am frustrated with my technology, I lose my motivation to work. My sister actually introduced me to this little guy after our last family vacation. Of course every used their phones for pictures, so while we were waiting in the airport, tired and just ready to be home, my sister asked if she could get my photos from me. Being the grouchy traveler I am, I gave her that look that said "you don't seriously expect me to mess around with that now" and said let's do it later, which typically ends up being several months later, if we ever get around to actually doing it. Then, she pulls this tiny device out and says I don't need to do anything. I'm very skeptical at this point because I am the techiest of all my family members - to say the least, she is not very adept at this sort of thing. I knew she'd start it, not be able to get it to work and then I'd be called to service. Then the most amazing thing happened. She plugs this into my phone, selected the photos of mine she wanted, and in record time, she pops it out and it's done. Just like that. Then she even adds my photos to my brother's phone, and grabs copies of his. I'm still amazed. Worth the money for that alone. Give this a try, you won't regret it, and it's so small you won't even notice you have it. ... show more
