  • SSD Works Just Great
Capacity: 2TB
I bought this to add storage space to my Nvidia Shield. It was super easy to install and works just fine. I have had zero issues with it. The transfer speeds are as expected. I would definitely recommend this drive for someone looking to add storage space. I don't use it in a gaming application so I cannot attest to its performance when really being stressed. ... show more

  • Excellent HDD replacement.
Capacity: 240GB
This SSD vastly increased the performance of an older desktop. The switch-over was easy without losing any programs or data, using some free software I found on-line. Startup went from over 2 minutes to less than 30 seconds.

  • Effective Budget SSD
Capacity: 1TB
I got the original laptop OS cloned onto this with MiniTool partition wizard and it worked without an issue using a pair of spare SATA slots in my desktop. The SSD case is very light and feels cheap, but it mounted fine in the laptop. The SSD setup instructions were the tiniest print, but I did not need them. It passed the initial benchmarks with 450mbps+/- which is plenty good enough as a spinning HDD upgrade for a Lenovo Y70 laptop, and also on par with my older Samsung 850 SSDs. That is where this product excels...as not the best of the SSD's, but big capacity and fast enough to be meet typical SSD speeds at a budget price. Longevity is TBD. ... show more

  • Great upgrade from HHD to SSD
Capacity: 2TB
I got this Samsung 2Tb SSD to upgrade my 2012 Dell XPS 8500 tower with Windows 10 Pro. The machine is perfect for my needs, but boot-up, shut down. and loading programs was like watching paint dry. I didn't need the 2Tb, but my machine came with a 7200 2Tb HHD. Research and advice from experts suggested I match size to avoid cloning problems. Quick delivery and competitive price. I advise that you order the companion mounting bracket and USB to SADA cable. The cable makes it so easy to clone the SSD from your HHD without opening the box. I only used abut 480Gb of the 2Tb. I don't know enough about computer hardware to attempt to open the box and start moving cables, resetting the Bios, etc. to set it up to clone. With the USB to SATA cable, just plug into an open USB and follow the video instructions. I downloaded Macrium Reflect 7 Free Home version to clone the drive. Macrium has a Webinar they converted to a Youtube video that gives step by step instructions for making a Boot Drive and cloning a drive. It even shows how to clone drives with more or less capacity. I used the free version, but when I get help with making my old HHD a backup drive I can clone, I plan to purchase the software, then every month I can create a reserve drive. My research indicates that SSD's are not as reliable as the old HHD's and booting from a clone is a breeze. When the cloning process was complete (less than an hour), I disconnected and opened the box. removed the open bay, attached the SSD inside the bracket, reinstalled the bay and connected the old cables from the HHD to the new SSD, closed the box, reattached power, video and sound and powered it up. In about 40 seconds boot-up was complete. The old HHD took about 4 to 5 minutes and shut down in 15 seconds or less compared to about 2 minutes before. I wish I had not waited so long to upgrade. I recommend upgrading to SSD if you are unhappy with the slow performance of your computer and are using a HHD. Everything you need to do the job is Macrium Reflect, a USB to SATA, a USB stick for Boot Drive and mounting hardware (dependent on your box). ... show more

  • Top quality
Capacity: 2TB
I've never had a bad experience with Sandisk. I've owned multiple different products from Sandisk, and all has been the best of it's type. From micro/mini memory cards, to USB sticks, and now this internal SSD. Someone gifted me a Crucial MX series and I didn't install it right away because I had been busy that season. When I did get around to installing it, it didn't work. One of the pins had bent with barely the slightest touch when plugging it in. I've done a few of these SSD's prior so I wasn't fumbling around trying to figure it out. I couldn't return it so I just tossed it in the trash and bought this Sandisk SSD. I wish I had automatically returned the gift one and got the Sandisk instead. Sandisk will always be my go-to brand for memory cards. Other brands like PNY, Crucial, and Kingston may have bugged out on me in the past, but Sandisk has never failed me. For some products, you can go with cheaper alternatives. For electronics, you have to stick to certain brands, like Sandisk, Seasonic, NVIDIA, and in some cases you might end up paying a little more, or the same, but with good brands you don't have to worry about returning or replacing. ... show more
