I have spent hours banging landscape staples into the ground since I would rather do that than weed all our paths (which I then cover with either pebbles or wood chips). I have ordered probably 5 - 7 different types of staple and these are the best - by far. They go in easily, hold the fabric securely and do not bend. I had maybe 2 bend when I tried to pound them directly into rocks, but all the other staples I've used have maybe 5 - 6 times higher bend rate and are much harder to pound in and if I'm being honest, don't feel as secure. Because they're so easy to use, I probably also use more. Not sure if that's good or bad, but this fabric isn't moving. I just ordered my second batch. Awesome product. ... show more

When you want to secure landscaping sheets, these pins are the best product I have used. The pins don’t bend like thin “U” shaped pins when inserted into the ground. The Sandbaggy pins are high quality and should last for years. I also use the pins to secure Christmas displays in the yard.

I had purchased an outdoor xmas lighted 4ft high mesh decoration. The garden staples it came with was cheap & useless. Being the decoration was 4ft high I needed a sturdy type staple/anchor so it would not be blown down. I used this product & it was easy to hammer into ground, especially because the ring head is easy to hammer on & it remained straight as I did so & is serving the purpose I bought it for. Yes,it is more expensive than similar ones but this is made durable & strong. I will probably use them in the warm weather to anchor against some of my garden statues as well to make sure they remain upright. These stakes are heavy duty metal and easy to put in the ground to hold landscape fabrics. So much better than plastic. They say they shouldn’t rust. Time will tell, but they will be covered with mulch and stones.

After driving them into the ground I felt confident that they were going to hold the tarp down during the 30 - 40 gusts that are common in our coastal area.
