This phone is very cool phone. My wife loves it. She loves it because it folds of course. The build quality again of course top teir its samsung after all. The gorilla glass victus 2 gives you the glass protection you need. The build of the phone top teir the aluminum body of the phone makes it light and strong. The hinge is very strong as well compared to the moto razr that is made out of steel. The z flip 5 has the latest chipset. It is flawless butter smooth scrolling speed. The screen becoms very bright. The camera is what you would expect from samsung would be awsome it had the 23 ultra camera but because of the size of the phone it would very goofy with those big camera circles like the 23 ultra or the iphone 14 or15. The features are not gimmicky my wife loves tpee mode it is super cool my wife uses it all the time. I just wish you could do everything on the front screen as you could with the phone open. The 1 major downside to this phone is the battery life it is not very good other than that it is an all around really fun and durable phone to use. I would recommend this phone becasue as i said before its fun to use it is a durable phone it packs all latest processing speed strength pretty good camera and build quality. If you are looking for a folding phone with all the latest and greatest. If you want a folding that you can use and not be so limited on its capabilities this is the phone. The zfold is i think not functioning the tablet screen is i believe to much. Most people would not open the phone too often its there if you want but in day to day use its not usable i think and also that phone is super heavy who wants that and the front screen is too narrow. The razr is made from plastic body and steel hindge makes it heavy as well. The google fold is small i think and to wide. The zflip 5 is everything you would want in a foldable. Usefulness screen size is perfect when its folded when open screen is not narrow and odd looking. Not a heavy phone. The gap when folded is completely from 1 end to the other so there will not be any unexpected unfold. For the price here its a steal and amazon provides a pretty good buy back program if you have unused samsung phones or want to upgrade its a great opportunity to get rid of phones to get nice money off of this phone more than it already is. I had great luck with the galaxy Z Flip 4 however, I purchased that one new from T-Mobile. I decided I wanted to try one of these Z flip 5 models and I found this seller selling refurbished ones. BIG MISTAKE!!! When I had a problem Amazon requested. I contact them and they do not reply. I got Amazon to authorize a refund and the seller is trying to charge me $128 for a restocking fee on a defective item that has warranty or so they claim it has warranty! Do yourself a favor either buy a new one or find a seller that’s willing to stand behind their product! I buy thousands of items on Amazon, that’s no joke. I usually don’t have a problem other than maybe some late deliveries. This however, is a terrible experience! BUYERS BEWARE!! THEY HAVE MANY OTHER ONE STAR REVIEWS ... show more

I'm really happy with this purchase. You never know what to expect with a renewed phone, but this one came in mint condition, with no scratches or screen damage, factory fresh and ready to go. It did come with a charger. The cameras, fingerprint sensor, mic, speaker and connectivity have all been tested and seem to be working perfectly. Battery life seems great. I don't see any problems with the hinge or fold area, which is where I would be most worried for a used folding phone. As for the Z Flip 5 itself, I've had it two days so far, and I am finding I really like the small front screen, which can support a lot of features and apps. The form factor is really convenient to carry. Samsung Smart Switch made it quick and convenient to swap from my old phone, a Samsung Galaxy S20. I would say I was fully up and running with all my apps, old messages, and data transferred in less than an hour. It also connected to Mint Mobile network with no issue. We'll see how the hinge/fold work over the life of the phone, but I'm very pleased at this point! ... show more

I have been looking to upgrade my phone for a while now and had my eyes set on the Z Flip 5. I saw the price on this refurbished Z Flip 5 and couldn't pass up the deal. Refurbished in "excellent" condition for less than $600, what a deal! I thought "excellent" condition meant maybe there'd be some scratches on the phone or maybe like some minor cosmetic damage to the sides of the phone. I received a phone with a crack along the entire width of the inner screen just above the crease. So not exactly the "excellent" condition that I had expected. That is my only complaint, though. Shipping: FAST Cost: Reasonable Value: Great Overall score: 4 out of 5 stars. I would subtract 2 points for the cracked screen (making the score a 2 out of 5 stars), but the phone is still fully usable. ... show more

After 3 months, within days of the return period expiration, the bezel around the screen began chipping off and the hinge pieces started to lift up. I took it to a Samsung dealer locally, as the seller suggested. They said that the screen protector was missing and, when refurbished, the bezel had been chipped/broken, and that without the screen protector, the pixels would be easily damaged. The seller claims the phone was sent in "mint" condition and that "it does not matter if the screen protector was on or off". What !!! Why would Samsung put screen protectors on if they are not necessary? Again, great phone .... but buy it elsewhere. ... show more
