The watch by itself is amazing. I'm here to review the fact that it is a refurbished/renewed electronic. It was delivered super fast, it came in its original box, all accessories came in the box and were original (or at least that's what they looked like), looked and felt brand new, even came with protective plastic peel-off stickers. So far the unboxing experience was intact. Now the important thing; the watch. The only negative I could find is that it did not come with the peel-off stickers (but that's expected). Apart from that, it was in perfect shape. Mint condition. No scratches, bumps, dust, not a single sign of wear. Aesthetics 10/10. And after a few days of use I can confidently say the same for the internals, battery runs as advertised and all functionalities work just fine. I love it, it's an amazing extension for my phone (an iPhone) and a great fitness tracker. Gives me all notifications I need, helps me stay active (hence the name), looks modern and stylish... it is great. If you were hesitant to buy it, this is your call to do it. Even if it is a refurb to save a few bucks. You will love it too. ... show more

As far as battery life, I can't really answer that. I bought this for my son, and I have them turn in all their electronics at night, so the watch gets charged every other night. It is usually reading below 30% on the battery. I don't know how long that 30% would last, and during the day, the watch is almost always going off because of snap chat. I don't think the use of a smart watch battery on a 13 year old, would be the same as an adult. Easy to use, easy to set up, and a really great accessory for anyone but especially for a child. No longer are my texts being ignored or not seen. It's great for when they are at school and you just need to leave them a note like "you forgot your keys, they are ..... so you aren't locked out in 10 degree weather" and such. I was scared to order a refurbished watch. But I am so pleased. I had to replace a Galaxy Active 2 that I had worn daily for about 2 years. The "downgrade" didn't affect me in the least as the few features that the 2 has were ones I did not use. The condition of this refurbished watch is nearly perfect. And the battery is better than what was left on my 2, before it died. I use always on display, and it still lasts all day. My 2 was alerting me of a low battery after about 13-14 hours, which is not terrible given how hard I used it. But I totally expected the same or worse performance from this refurbished product and was pleasantly surprised! It was absolutely worth the money. ... show more

I was looking for a smart watch, but I didn't want to spend a lot of money and this is almost exactly what I wanted. The positives: I can get notifications from my phone and track my exercise and sleep. All of these functions work really well and the watch is easy to use. From what I can tell the step tracking seems accurate. The sleep tracking is pretty good, but maybe not 100% accurate. However, it works well for what I need. There are a lot of great functions other than what I mentioned, but those were the main things I needed. Now the negatives: The battery is TERRIBLE. I have to charge it about every 36 hours (give or take). My schedule is very flexible so it's not too hard to work around for me, but if you are a person who is always on the go and super busy, I'd recommend maybe spending a little more for something with a better battery life. Plus, the charger, although a great idea, is a little frustrating. It's a flat magnetic disc that you sit your watch on and seems pretty cool until your cat knocks it off the charger. It can easily stop charging if its bumped just a little so I'd recommend keeping it somewhere safe while charging. Also, when the watch arrived the battery was completely dead and it took a while for it to turn on while charging. At first I thought I got a bad one, but after leaving it alone on the charger for a few hours it turned on. All-in-all I love the watch and for me the positives outweigh the negatives. It also helps that it was under $100 (which is a huge plus for me). If the battery life was better, this would be a 5 star review. ... show more

Big thing to remember is that the watch runs Tizen OS, so many staple Google apps are not available. But the selection of watch faces & the built-in apps are good enough for most general use. The controls are fairly intuitive and you can remap things quite well to better suit your tastes. Having a larger band included is nice and removal of it is very easy. Battery life is roughly 13-15 hours tops if you use it as more than just a watch. I got more than a day out of it when only using it to tell time. Not too bad considering the price.
