Upgrading from an S10e, so it's not hard to impress me, I guess, though I knew what I was looking for in a new phone. So far it's very good, though I keep having to get used to how much bigger and heavier it is than my old one. Love the color. Much faster processing than my old one and much bigger battery life, but again, that's not hard, haha. So far no issues. Big screen is much easier to read on. I'm still a bit thrown by how big all the app icons are and that you can't make them smaller to fit more on one page but that's whatever. ***Update a few months in: I do wish the camera lenses on the back were integrated into a single flat panel and/or flush with the case like the S20 FE and other models, as it makes it harder to protect them and keep the surrounding area clean. I am always anxious about how I'm storing my phone due to this (though certain cases may protect them better). With the weight of an added decenrly protective case, however, the phone can feel quite heavy after awhile and tire your wrists and fingers. The price of a nice big screen, I suppose. No overheating/cpu overload issues so far even with terribly coded apps like Spotify. Biggest con imo is the removal of the audio jack. I don't plan on getting wireless earbuds bc I don't want more batteries to deal with and I haven't bought usb-c earbuds yet so rn I'm using a usb-c to audio jack adapter which is problematic for 2 reasons: 1) you can't charge it at the same time (though I've seen split adapters that let you do this—not sure of their charge speed or audio quality though), and 2) at least with an adapter (not sure if ubiquitous connector issue), as it is a data connection rather than a simple 3mm jack, you can hear the "fuzz" (like an old record) of the data flow through the wire connection quite audibly at all times. I initially got this phone for free with a Verizon phone plan. But because of customer service and receiving different answers about my bill, I cancelled the service and sent the phone back (they will charge you the full price of the phone if you dont). I liked the phone a lot so I decided to get it myself and bought this one. Love this phone! The camera, the built in editing features, the speed, battery life, the storage and it's unlocked! Great phone, I have accidentally dropped it from my top pocket multiple times and it is still like new. I do not like Samsung Bixby, it interferes with simple phone off functions. Maybe its me, but privacy is out the window with almost everything that is connected to the internet. And I really dislike the Google playstore, trick of install this app, but you need to then sign up for this app, and also anther app, before you can use the first app. The phone has lots of memory, performance is good, picture quality is excellent. So far storage is also good. I Like USB C, charging rate is good, battery life is also good. BT works well. I have used the Google maps GPS for directions, kinda clunky but it works. I must admit I was kinda' concerned. I've always used more powerful, obviously more expensive, phones. I bought this one as a quick temporary solution and was prepared to compromise heavily. Well, I was wrong. This little guy (Galaxy S23 FE) is great. Powerful Snapdragon processor, great screen, great camera, very good sound, good features (actually, too many Samsung apps that you can't even remove...) Battery is powerful enough. I agonized about what to buy for over a year. I am very picky and do not change phones very often. My previous phone was a Samsung Note 8 and this phone is almost the same size. It is a little heavier but I don't mind. The battery is great but avoid auto brightness if you want to have better performance. It has everything I needed without being larger size and twice the price. I have a brand new laptop for doing anything fancier than what I want to do on the phone so could not find any value in getting the S24 or S24+. I don't use the stylus much anymore either. If there isn't something you absolutely must have in the S24 series, this is a very good deal for half the price. ... show more

When I bought this phone it was listed as being used/like new. When the phone arrived and I opened it I was shocked, the phone looked and functioned as new, not a single scratch, bump, or defect whatsoever. It has been a few months since i recieved it, I wanted to use it before writing the review to be sure it continued to function at an optimum level. It has not let me down. Everything about this purchase was perfect, and the phone is still keeping up and functions just as a new phone. The camera is amazing, clear video, and all the settings are fun to use. There is 8 GB internal memory, and it has plenty of storage with 256 GB. The screen is bright, scrolling is super smooth, and there are many extra functions for the tech savvy. I have no complaints, this is an amazing phone and a huge upgrade from my galaxy s9. If your hesitant on buying a used device but want to save money, I can say from my expierience that you will not regret your purchase. Buy used, and enjoy your like new phone! ... show more
