    • The kickstand don't work properly, they're not strong
The case itself seems to be solid and I'm happy with it but I'm absolutely unhappy with the kickstands that go out of their little holder bar, and get detached easily, I have to reattach them again and again and since it is cheap plastic it might even break!!! So no more of this function anymore if that happens! , so this can make the case very unreliable, you don't know what's going to happen to your phone if the kickstands of the case are not holding the pressure and they easily get detached and make your phone drop! ... show more

I'm reviewing the protective standing cover in clear that I got for my white S22 Ultra. The case fits great. The phone looks awesome with the clear back, and I appreciate how protected the camera is. However, this case does not function as a good "stand". The phone cannot be propped up with the stand in portrait mode, because of the weight of the phone. The stand part snaps off easily if I do that. It works okay in landscape mode however. As a case, very good. But as a stand, not good. ... show more

PROS: Inexpensive, not bulky at all, slides in and out of pocket with ease. The sides of the case have ribs making it easy to hold The case was very easy to attach to the phone. I've had other cases (Otter in particular) that were difficult to attach and even more diffult to take off. The Otter case was also extremely bulky. I don't need that level of protection and I prefer something to offer basic protection. I think this will be adequate. Another plus is all the buttons and holes for inputs such as USB and outputs (speakers, mic) line up nicely. CONS: The kickstand is flimsy. The ad listing inidcates it can be used in 2 positions (horizontal and vertical). I found that in the horizontal position, it worked fine (see pic). In my opinion, the vertical position is useless. The angle is too low and the kickstand feels unstable. Since my needs are to use it only in the horizontal position, I'm OK with that. Also note that I thought it was odd that the directions show you how to reattach the kickstand(s) if they fall off. I thought that was rather odd but as I was taking the pics for this review, I clumsily went to pick up the phone and the tall kickstand, along with a tab that goes between the kickstands, fell off. It was no big deal to reattach them but it just reinforces my statement that it is flimsy. IT'S WHITE! - so this may seem silly to some users but I fequently take the phone out of my pocket and put it on the table, desk, chair.....whatever is convenient....and then I frequently forget where I left it. So, a good part of my day is finding my phone. Most of my furnishings are black and finding a phone that is black is difficult. And at night, forget it. I can't even see it when it's right in front of me. So the white frame on this case makes it stand out enough to be found. UPDATE (4/12/2023): I've now had this protector for a year now. I'm very happy with the level of protection it provides and the fact that it is not bulky. The biggest complaint I have is the kickstand is flimsy and every once in a while it will come off. No big deal though because it snaps back into place easily. I will say that because of frequent use and abuse, it has become a little loose at the corners. But for $17, I can just get a new one.
