I bought a refurbished Galaxy S22 Ultra through Amazon, and while I’m all for giving tech a second life, this one clearly didn’t get a proper checkup. The front-facing camera was blurry right out of the box—like Vaseline-on-the-lens blurry—and within a week, it stopped working entirely. It wasn’t the phone’s fault. The S22 Ultra is a solid device when it actually works. But this experience made it clear: I won’t be buying another refurbished phone through Amazon. If I go refurbished again, it’ll be directly from Samsung, where I can trust it’s been tested and actually works like it should. Product looked great. Connected to Tmoble great at their office. Had to switch to Esim, regular sim would not work. Horrible connection outside Tmobile office. Horrible connection at my office (unusable) other employees at my office are also on Tmobile and their phones work. Took longer then 90 days for Tmobile to confirm the problem is with phone and not their connection. Seller refuses to fix or replace the phone. ... show more

When I received the phone, everything looked good on it. No scratches or marks, and it seemed to work well. Now that I've used it for about a month, I've come across too many issues that I don't think a new phone would have. -The selfie camera has a smudge on the inside of the lens that shows up on pictures. -Screen randomly flashes bright white every once in a while. It's painfully bright if I'm using my phone in the dark. -Phone runs slow. I don't really use any apps that I'd consider overly "demanding", it struggles when using snapchat. I'm going to try to tolerate this for a year or so, but I'll definitely buy my next phone direct from manufacturer, so in the long run, this secondhand purchase isn't going to save me any money. ... show more
