I found out after ordering that unlocked phones don't work over WiFi, so I started a return before even receiving it. I sent it back immediately without even removing it from the package which also contained the complementary ear buds and battery charger. I saw where tracking shows the box arrived and that Amazon received and processed the return on the buds and charger, but they did not process the thousand dollar plus phone despite it arriving simultaneously in the same package as the rest. I cannot get Amazon on the phone or find a link or email address anywhere to communicate about it, so maybe a poor review will light a fire under someone there. It's sitting on my Amazon store card, but I will not pay it after returning it unopened and knowing good and well that it was received. That said, I did buy the phone elsewhere later, and it's a nice phone...not worth the asking price but a nice phone nonetheless. It doesn't do anything appreciably better than my Galaxy S8+ did, though. ... show more

I ordered S20+ brand new phone. I received a defective phone. Attached picture you can see black shade in the middle of the picture. When I used the pro setting in the camera this is the result. This problem existed right out of the box. I called to order a replacement. Waiting for the another new phone. Will post an update on experience with that one soon. So far totally disappointed..after spending 1000 dollars you don't want this back and forth customer service issue. ... show more

Overall I'm very happy with the phone itself, the battery lasts me 2 days of above average usage, the double sided usb-c cable it came with made transferring all the data from my old phone to this one super simple and it took maybe 7 minutes to complete with all my pictures, apps, etc. The only thing that truly keeps me from giving it a higher rating is that the fast charging cable decided to stop working the 2nd day I had the phone, luckily I have plenty of USB-C cables so I can still charge it but for someone say making the switch from iPhone or that need the fast charge due to a more busy lifestyle that might be quite a big deal. The headphones it comes with are decent but not anything real special, I wish instead of them it came with a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter, but thats just my opinion. ... show more

Purchased alongside a Note 10+ and can comfortably say this phone is a little snappier, but feature-wise the Note 10+ has more bells and whistles. That's ok though, because I didn't need them! Edit - after a little more time with this phone, I can confidently say that I knew this phone was so lack-luster and such a money-grab, I would have saved the difference and went with a Note 10+. Edit 2 - after a year of owning this phone, it is the worst I've ever had. The battery life is incredibly inconsistent, the screen cracked after a 1 foot fall from my pocket to carpet, and it feels like I update it more than I get to use it due to non-stop security fixes. ... show more

5/5 stars! Considering this is an upgrade from my S6edge+, I'm loving it so far. Easy to setup and transfer all my apps and games. Still getting lost with how different the UI is but still user friendly. Only gripe is too many samsung apps that I don't use(though you can uninstall them or disable them). Camera is superb and on point! It produces nice and crisps pictures and amazing facial recognition. Battery life is amazing. I'm using this for 3hrs and only 10% was used considering I have everything on(sounds, vibration, data, bluetooth and spotify on). Best Phone I've had so far! ... show more

I got a reasonable, but still high, price on Amazon by using Honey to watch prices. I recommend this. This is a great phone with a great camera. I really enjoy the telephoto lens, which has eliminated the need for me to take a separate camera on most trips. The camera comes with a screen protective film in place, which some say prevents the fingerprint reader from working. I can definitely confirm that the fingerprint reader is useless. It took many repetitions to even get a fingerprint recorded and it never has successfully read my fingerprint to open the camera. Face recognition is a little better, but most of the time the camera forces me to use a PIN to open it. It's interesting that the fingerprint reader has been identified by Amazon for specific comment, so others must have this problem too. ... show more

I have to be honest, I am a long time Samsung phone fan. While I've tried other manufactures, I always seem to come back to Samsung. My likes: Super fast charging Battery lasts a LOT long than my S8's The camera is awesome IF you know how to take manually set up a DSLR. I found taking pictures in auto they sometimes seemed washed out, so I usually set my aperture and/or my shutter speed and don't spend a lot of time in the lab correcting my pictures. If you are going to take pictures in auto, minimize light objects (like white clouds) in photos and you won't have a problem. I have used the camera to take night shots of the moon and planets with surprisingly good results, but I did use a tripod. The zoom works pretty well, but if you zoom in all the way, expect pixelation. The display is fantastic, and I love how fast it can move from app to app. Quality is great While I was hesitant in buying a cell phone from Amazon, this was a great deal directly from Samsung with a savings of hundreds of dollars. The phone came with a screen saver already installed and it works great! I don't have any problems with the finger print reader. What I don't like: no headphone jack, but the phone came with a set of USB C headphones, so that is a wash for me The housing is WAY too slippery! I immediately bought an aftermarket case to protect the phone and to be able to hold on to it. ... show more
