Buying a renewed phone or any device in fact came with a little caution. However, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the device. No scratches or dents. The phone itself performs very well. This is my first flagship phone as well. The stylus is great for taking notes and drawing. My son likes it a bit more than me sometimes too. I would definitely continue to purchase renewed products from Amazon. ***UPDATE*** So I ordered another one for someone under the "excellent condition" tier. However there were minir knicks in the chasis and the S pen was harder than usual to remove from the phone. When I got it out there was a gluey type of residue on the pen and the pen was actually bend and had a crack in the middle of it. The pen functions normally though. ... show more

Soon after my return window on the item closed it started having serious problems. My screen would split and color would change turning my whole screen purple and green. It's made it impossible to do anything especially when it keeps glitching over and over. The charger has also started refusing to charge no matter how many different chargers or outlets I use. Bought the phone and it was beautiful and had enough memory etc. I got it out of the box, turned it on and within 5 minutes of it being on, trying to load all my stuff on it, the phone got extremely hot. So, based off that, I sent it back today.
