They're a small step up from the Galaxy Buds 1 but not hugely improved. The most notable improvements I've noticed are ANC and the earbud shape redesign. I'm sometimes surprised how loud it is around me when I take off the earbuds or long-press the earbud to disable ANC, it's not perfect but it will negate the bulk of outside noises, especially if they're dull and consistent like a fan, AC, passing cars, etc. The Buds Pro are comfortable for all day wear, the originals had an uncomfortable fin that would press into my skin and cause a headache if used for a prolonged period of time but these buds fix that. My only complaint is battery life, the battery is ok but it's not great by any means and it will not last all day. If you're hoping to have these in through a whole shift without taking them out to charge you'll be sorely disappointed, you'll be charging them at least once. The best solution to this is to have a 2nd pair of buds on hand or only use one bud at a time, I just wish battery tech was better. Probably not samsung's fault. The case itself holds like 2 charges which is underwhelming to me but I have two portable batteries anyway so it's not a big issue. Also the Galaxy wear app screen shows buds and case power level which is nice. Overall it's a great pair of buds with great sound and a respectable smooth bass (the bass in "Kokoroko-Ti-De" is fantastic) The sound is not that much better than galaxy buds 1 in my opinion but buds 1 are just awesome too (besides the ear-digging fins and even worse battery), but the Buds Pro better and way more comfortable for all day use. ... show more

For $140 how could I pass this up? The 3d imaging on these earbuds is imo the best. Its great for watching movies. The sound tuning is great right out the box no eq needed imo. Very close to harmon tuning sound. Very present and very tight and clean bass. Its highly impressive. The only earbuds I tried that were better for music were the sennheiser mtw2's. But the 3d imaging on the Buds pro blow the sennheisers out of the water. The sennheisers had a wider, very full and soft sound. But in comparison they sometimes sounded muddied, muffled and sibilant. Also lacked the Full features of the buds pro. Only thing the buds pro lacks is multipoint connection. At first I found the fit very painful. Even scratching up my ear or it would be loose or fall out. It really takes some learning and practice how to put this in your ear and that is the only huge downside to this product.. Once I figured out how to put them in my ear, by not twisting them so much and forcing them in, and also using 3rd party foam tips. I was happy with the product. Can't beat it, imo they are the best erarbuds on the market in every category. at almost half the price of others. Even the 1000xm4's sound muddy imo. I'm not sure how Sony keeps getting these good reviews. I still wouldn't trust it for biking or running. And I still worry and adjust them from time to time ... show more

    • Satisfying sound quality with great bass and excellent fit for me

I have not had a pair of earbuds that has fit well over the years. I am told that I have a small ear canal; however the large size earpiece fits my ears perfectly. I use these for cycling and gym so I am constantly on the move and with all the vibration and motion these stayed in my ears through the entire one hour duration. This is the only pair where I have not had to constantly adjust the fit which has never happened before. I can only attribute this to the design where the oval earpiece fitment is better than the traditional type. The deeper earpiece also makes cleaning a snap which is never the case with other earbuds. Audio quality is excellent with transparent highs, deep satisfying bass and clear mid-range. The Noise cancellation is in my opinion about the same as the Apple AirPods Pro which is quite excellent. I would say that Both Master and Dynamics MW07 and the Sennheiser Momentum 2 beats it in audio clarity but not in usability, comfort nor bass performance. For everyday listening these are the preferred sound in most situations and the touch controls are accurate and easy to use! Keep in mind that this is a Galaxy product line so can take advantage of the Samsung App for ANC levels and EQ as well as pairing. With that said iPhone users will not be able to take advantage of the customization since there is no app for iPhones. This is the same for Android phone users who cannot take full advantage of the AirPods/ Pro and the Beats Earbuds. Last word, Samsung took over Harman International in 2017. Harmon international owns Harmon and Kardon, JBL and AKG.. These are 3 of the most well known companies that makes high end audio spec products. Samsung is finally in the audio game and this product at less than $145 is the best earbuds you can get period. Save yourself a hundred bucks and get this. ... show more

The sound quality is really really good, with a perfect level of Bass and mids. The ANC works pretty good as well but nothing close to my Bose QC however, as you still here quite a bit more of the outside ambient noise coming through the Buds and it does a nuce glossyblack finish which makes it aesthetically pleasing. It pairs pretty fast and easily to my phone (S23 Ultra) with no issues whatsoever and the battery life is prety good giving you at least 7.5 hrs of play. The things I don't like about it is the design of the bud itself. It does not seat as good the Buds 2 Pro because the rather bluky curved portion that sits in the ear preventing the tip of the bud to sit properly in the ear canal. Also the tip has this rather oval shape, which causes a slightly uncomfortable feel. In addition to that, the silicone replacement tips are very small, the largest size if what I usually wear using the Buds2 pro which fits perfect, but with these on the BudsPro they're a little on the smaller side and doesn't give that perfect seal like i get with the 2Pro. Still a great pair of Earbud however. Update today being Apr 14, and my right ear bud for whatever reason dies way faster than the left. It'll charge to 100% but then after about an hour use dies completely. Rather disappointed ... show more
