Seller was good; no issues with them. This phone would be great for an undemanding user like me; the battery life is pretty good, and it's decently powerful. It's too big overall, but apparently "the market" wants phablets, not "mini" phones. The big issue is the screen. It's not bright enough to use in sunlight, and suffers from phantom/ghost press issues. I tried two of these phones before moving on to another model. With or without a screen protector, Touch sensitivity turned on, or Accidental touch protection turned on, ghost screen presses would suddenly make the phone unusable and require a restart. Since phones are now our link to emergency services, that's unacceptable to me; the phone needs to just work. ... show more

I bought this phone so I could have two SIM cards in the same phone, and it had to be compatible with all networks so I could switch between Verizon or T-Mobile as needed (I use a third party carrier). I've had some issues that I wanted to make sure you were aware of. My perspective will be from the Verizon network, as that's the SIM card I chose to access my lines with. Firstly, I had some connectivity issues that required my carrier to "provision the line" (their term, not mine), which worked to get me back missing features. Symptoms of this issue were an inability to receive SMS group texts; single texts and calling worked fine. But I had a larger problem where I wasn't able to make calls or receive texts, but oddly was able to get on the internet w/out using Wi-Fi. One thing to double check when you're having connectivity issues are the APNs (access point names) and whether they're set up properly for your network. Your carrier should have the proper settings for your APNs. Mine centered around 3 APNs: Verizon CBS, Verizon IMS, and whatever the name is for the VZWINTERNET on your network. They need to have the proper settings for MCC, MNC, and APN protocols (standard and roaming) to ensure your phone will work on their network. It was some trial-and-error, but I am happier now that I understand those settings for my particular carrier/network combination. I do currently have a strange issue with losing connectivity on one of the SIM cards/numbers when Wi-Fi is turned on, which I'm researching. Jury is still out on the phone otherwise, but it works relatively well with using both lines for texting and calling. My 4/5 stars may be a bit optimistic, but I figure that people buying a phone like this aren't going to shy away from understanding the technical framework of the phone. ... show more

I switched from iPhone to Samsung. After an initial problem with connecting etc, Samsung customer service was helpful but I did end up solving the problem myself, which is fine. It's been working well for several weeks now and I think it's a very good buy. Great graphics, clear pictures and screens. Audio is good for TV|movies, music and videos. I do wish the on|off button was on top to avoid squeezing it by mistake and I prefer to tap instead of swipe to open the phone. I will get used to both I suppose. ... show more
