I'm still trying to make up my mind on this one. It's been a little glitchy for me but overall it's not a bad phone for the price. No major problems except for the screen blinking a little and a slow start-up. However, that may just be me and my location. I'm not disappointed with the phone. It would not work for spectrum the reson I bought it but they said it's not certified unlocked so I love the phone so much I got straight talk and will transfer over everything from my other phone still with every dollar

When I received this phone it had stickers on the box that had Thai or Hindi writing on them, I really can't tell the difference. Anyway, open the box and insert 3 different sim cards from 3 major carriers and only 1 of them worked, and it was only getting E as in Edge or 2g. Seriously, not 4GE but Just E. I believe this phone was imported and sold as a local phone. Anyway, I have already returned one phone because it was branded as the 5G version but it was only the standard 4G version. So I really didn't feel like going through the trouble of returning another phone, so I took a chance that it would work in the Philippines and gave it to my fiancée as a gift, and thank god they use similar frequencies as the ones required by this phone. The sellers should really test these phones and be more specific in the description as to what carriers these phones are compatible with. Another thing I noticed is that when the phone boots up, it didn't say the model of the phone, it only had a generic Samsung Galaxy boot logo. US versions of Samsung phones boot up and reveal the specific model number, ie. Samsung Galaxy Note 20 or whatever. So I believe there is something fishy with some of these phones. It works well, the batter seems going down fast, and the device is a little bit slow, and it is kind of heavy to hold it for a long time with one hand. But, 128 GB storage and overall operations compared to the price is good.

As a base, no-frills phone, with user low-expectations, this phone will work. But for my purposes... it's going back. My daily drivers have been the Samsung Galaxy models since the demise of the Microsoft Windows Phone 😥. I wanted a phone dedicated to online video streaming just in case I accessed a dicey site and the phone picked up some malware. I thought this A14 would be it. Nope! This A14 was too sluggish. Even doing a basic search using Bing search engine, the app had a difficult time launching. Many times, I would be staring at a black screen for too long...it took that long to load. I reinstalled the app just in case, checked RAM usage, made sure extraneous apps were not running in the background. Nada, no joy. I couldn't get files to auto-save to the SD card even after selecting that option. So...I'm sending it back. I've ordered a slightly more expensive, older Galaxy model. We shall see. Even the Motorola G that I initially purchased for this video-viewing purpose performed better than this A14 for certain metrics. But the G was lacking in a few features I wanted so hence, the search for a replacement. ... show more
