This phone was decent. I paid for excellent quality but I feel like I received the "good" quality. Screen had scratches. The S pen didn't work. I will say that the seller was quick to accommodate these issues. They mailed me a working S pen (not the same color as my phone but oh well) and gave me a partial refund for the scratches. Overall, happy with the purchase. One thing I was disappointed with was the lack of SD card slot. I didn't do enough research on this phone prior. The Ultra has one so I assumed this version would have one too. But alas, it does not. ... show more

Refurb is of good quality with few noticeable scratches. Screen is new. Overall happy enough with it except for both cameras having dust under the lens- a big reason I upgraded from my last phone. Also, the screen has a noticeable ripple in it (when it's off). Does not impact functionality as far as I can tell. edit: Never mind! It took two hours for a licensed Samsung phone shop to repair my cracked screen because they literally glued it to the wireless charger (and the tech explained that if I didn't have a wireless charger in this phone it would've been glued to the battery instead, risking a FIRE during replacement). The screen rippling was because of the glue. I'm never buying refurbished again! How hard is it to use a normal amount of adhesive?? ... show more

All in, I really like the phone, gui, and new features over my older 9. 2 complaints the 1st for Samsung. The fingerprint reader was a functionality I used when I couldn't look down at my phone, now I have to look at it and try try again. 2nd is for the retailer; the phone arrived with the middle camera visibly broken. This is a deal breaker for me as I use my phone for work, I need perfect pictures. Without the mid camera. Nothing comes in clear when zooming in. Could've inspected it a little better. Now the good - i was worried about battery life - i charge my phone 1 time every couple of days even though it was used. Awesome. There was signs of previous use as i expected, but nothing a quick alcohol wipe didnt resolve (also how i discovered the camera). Overall a 5 of 5 for condition. Last complaint: i requested a replacement or return, and I bought the phone black friday/cyber monday - they're going to refund me for the camera issue (thank you) - but regardless of how that plays out - I'll have to purchase the next one at whatever full price may be. Kinda got screwed there, but they got a business to run. Lesson learned, request replacement 1st return 2nd. ... show more
