I like the price and the brand and the quality seems pretty good, but I haven’t used it yet, so not sure how long this piece of luggage will last. My last Samsonite duffel roller bag lasted a long time and held up quite well. This one doesn’t seem to be quite the same quality. I like that the zipper and zipper pulls are sturdy. I like the end compartment for shoes, but large shoes will not fit in here; my size 7 tennis shoes fit nicely. I like the two compartments; I like the in-line rollers, and I like the protection at the bottom of the case. I don’t like that it has no straps in the bottom compartment to secure your contents and without straps contents will shift. Same with the top compartment - no straps. Can’t understand why Samsonite wouldn’t add to the straps. The handle seems sturdy; however, there are two canvas handles for picking up the bag off of a bag claim carousel, and those handles are not tacked down. They are simply sewn in, so I’m not sure how long the last. The handles are not padded. Samsonite could’ve done a few things to make this bag superb but missed a few key features. ... show more

When I was in the military, these 2 compartment roller duffles were all I used to travel. I swear by these type bags! It was large enough to separate military and civilian clothes and spacious for my trips to haul everything. When I got out of service I opted to go suitcase style as I had to pay for checked bags so I learned to pack light and efficient with a carry on. Now I’m heading back into the military and this bag was a great find! I remember paying $150-$200 for my last bags that lasted me 10 years so I’m hoping this will do the same. Love the separate compartments, including the two smaller pockets for shoes - I put flatter shoes in the pocket near the wheels, and bulkier ones by the handle. The two separate large compartments made it easy to pack more fragile items near the handle to provide some protection. The 28-inch size was more than enough for a multi-week trip. Wheels and handle are sturdy. Only drawback is the lack of protection on the pocket near the wheels (the far end from the handle) - I had to be very careful not to drag the bag upright. Would have appreciated rubberized or plastic guards on that side to make it easier to stand upright, and to keep that pocket from getting scratched and dirty. ... show more

If you are looking for a decent “checked luggage” size bag, this bag may do the job for you. It is fairly roomy, with two separate large compartments. It is reasonably well made. I’m pretty picky when it comes to luggage and this bag did not disappoint. Packed full it held together with 50ish pounds of stuff on a two week European trip. Easily made it through four flights, a train ride, up and down streets in several European countries, a cruise ship and home again. Bag barely looks used.
