I'm particular about things that I use in the kitchen. I've had so many sink protector mats and assorted dish detergent dispensers, dish drainers, etc. This is THE BEST sink protector that I've had in the 50+ years that I've been buying a product for my kitchen sink. I purchased this to use in my stainless steel sink. It has little points on the bottom of the mat that serve as feet to lift the mat off the bottom of the sink. Holes in mat are close enough together that utensils don’t get caught under the mat (which causes scratches but large enough that food particles go through. I especially like the drain center. Easy to take out your drain catcher and empty without moving the entire mat. Have had no mold or mildew gather under mat because of elevated points. Looks like it will last a long time.
