This works very well given the small amount of counterspace available for holding dishes for drying and is able to collapse down to make counter space when not in use. It meets our needs and has held up for the past year and is still going.

I bought it with the drain pad because I was not sure it would fit in my sink, but it does. It is usable both open and collapsed. It is sturdy and utensils cannot escape under the drain like with my old one. And it collapses quite small for storage. However, the white plastic intended to hold utensils does not snap securely into the drain. It is easily dislodged when putting dishes into the drain and the utensils tend to slide down under it instead standing upright. That is my only complaint. I needed a small drainer to set on the counter next to the sink. This one is small enough but there are issues. The silverware holder doesn’t hold them up in place so they slide all over. The drainer leaves water in the tray so if you forget to pour the water out, it runs all over the countertop.

Bought this for my small kitchen. We love it. I will admit we sometimes overflow it's capacity, but for the size, it works great. I love how easily it collapses for storage so I don't have a dish drainer on my counter all the time. We wash the dishes and unload it then put it away. Perfect for a small kitchen. Now if you have a big family or cook a lot of gourmet meals that create a lot of dishes, this probably isn't for you. ... show more
