    • I wish I had this thing when I was a kid!
I paid about $14 for my first incubator more than 40 years ago (a piece of trash made of a thin plastic, a little bulb and could barely fit 4 eggs)! I was so dissapointed that I threw it in the trash and built my own with a big cardboard box, a glass (probably 10 x 14) to see through, a heating lamp and used a plastic cup to add water and raise humidity. Everyone thought I was crazy, however, by meticulously controlling temperature, humidity and manual rotation, I achieved 100% success rate (except that one chicken was born with deformed legs). All 20 plus eggs hatched. I have not tested this one yet and it seems that the ones that have tried have had alarm issues or low success rate, so it could be concerning...However, judging by my past experiences, if this thing at least heats, I am almost certain I will make this work for me. At least seems well built and probably take 35 chicken eggs as pictured. However, at $89.99 may be a little overpriced considering its capacity but it currently has a $20 discount coupon. I like that it is compact, 17 x 14 x 6 in inches and that there is lot of visibility through the transparent cover. Si the overall design seems awesome to me. So temperature may not be an issue, but humidity is something that I would constantly monitor regardless of the type of incubator. ... show more

This is a large capacity incubator for eggs. You can do 35 chickens, 28 ducks, 21 geese, or up to 65 quail eggs. We had absolutely no issues setting this up. It does have good temperature control. It has a heating fan that distributes the heat circulates the air. The importance of the turbo fan helps to keep the air circulation which also keeps his temperature more uniform throughout the unit. This is important for your eggs to hatch properly. This has a clear lid on it. So you can see exactly what’s happening. This is a great way to keep your kids involved and see how the babies are born. This has a smart touch button digital panel. It was very easy to operate. Accurate temperature - humidity is so important. There’s a visible water level so you can keep on checking where humidity control is. This was very easy to add water to this system. I definitely love that there’s a water shortage warning on this. This will let you know that you need to add water, so it will not allow your eggs to dry out. This would be great for a classroom for a small farm for a homeschooling family anyone that really wants to see their own babies hatch. There is a roller to turn your eggs. That is so important with these little ones. I love the clear window where you can view everything. Absolutely fantastic for the kids to watch everything. Highly recommend. ... show more

We had a much smaller and less performing incubator before so this has definitely been an upgrade for us. Love that it can hold so many eggs- although we do not incubate more than 10-12 at a time. Rotates the eggs as it should and is fairly quiet when doing so. Love the fact that you can actually change the settings on this, our old one you could not so you were stuck with whatever it automatically set to. Easy to clean after hatching so you can have a fast turn around and be ready to begin incubating another set soon after! ... show more

At first I thought this was gonna be a decent product, set it up to get familiar , and the alarms are going off , and won’t shut off, super annoying, I have 2 other machines in the same price range, and this is the worst, not even gonna hatch, gonna box it up and send it back

I received this through the Amazon Vine Program. This huge 35 capacity incubator works great. Holds great temperature. It's easy to assemble and use. This is a fabulous product and great price.

This is a nice incubator it does work as advertise Im was personally not a big fan of the rolling system in this one I just didn't like that way they installed and rolled however it did serve it purpose and worked well.

    • Takes some trial-and-error, but decent quality and hatch rate
I've used my large, cabinet incubator for years, and have hatched hundreds (maybe thousands) of chicks, keets, and poults over the last decade. I was interested in trying some table-top units for smaller clutches to conserve energy. I've run two clutches through this incubator. The first clutch only achieved a 50% hatch rate, much lower than I've achieved with my cabinet. However, the instructions were less than clear, so much of this run was trial-and-error. My biggest complaints were a) the buttons are far too easy to accidentally press - I found myself inadvertently changing the settings by bumping the screen with my chest as I leaned over the unit to observe the eggs; and b) the low/high temp/humidity alarms are impossible to figure out - there is very limited information included regarding how to use these functions, and the darn thing was CONSTANTLY alarming. My second clutch achieved a slightly higher hatch rate, but I was still dealing with the alarm issue, as I still haven't figured out how to disable the alarm. I added a small, digital thermometer/hygrometer, and the embedded unit seems surprisingly accurate. All-in-all, this is a decent little unit; however, I'd be reluctant to recommend it without more detailed instructions available. ... show more
