Every once in a blue moon you come across a product that absolutely changes your life. This is one of those products. I have purchased this so many times I’ve lost count. I always make sure to reorder ahead of time when I know I’m going to be running out soon. This is one of those magical, perfect products that just completely enhances the look of your skin regardless how you use it. It plays well with other products, I haven’t met a product yet that used in combination has effected one or both products. One of the beautiful things about this product is that it can be used in a myriad of ways. You can use it alone over your daily moisturizer and SPF with no makeup, you can use it mixed in with foundation, a skin tint or even your moisturizer and spf, you can use under your foundation or ON top of your foundation (though, do not use it OVER powder…that’s just fundamental). It’s so lightweight, so moisturizing, adds a luminosity to the skin that looks natural and radiant without being glittery and obvious and without looking oily/greasy. It’s not oily or tacky/wet feeling, though I do like to give it a minute to “dry down” before applying concealer and foundation if I’m using it under foundation. But I say “dry down” leniently since it doesn’t get dry. I use it under either Tarte Shape Tape, Yensa Serum Foundation or Haus Labs Triclone Foundation (my HG). It has mixed well with all either directly or applied before and dotted AGAIN after. Starglow is a product I will buy til the end of time. I do have the other shade as well and will use that more in the summer either added into my foundation or mixed with Starglow. I don’t go through it a much as Starglow but I like it SO much better than the DE bronzing drops for a touch of color (don’t get me started on that product). I have a number of Saie products and I love them all, but this one….this is their best product I’ve tried. I have also tried some similar products just to see, test them waters….yet nothing compares to this or even comes close to be a “dupe”. I’ll put this on real quick just to run errands on no makeup days and forget that I even applied it and 5 hours later someone will compliment my skin when I’m at the grocery store. I’m 41. People just don’t stop and compliment my skin, lol. Also I have very sensitive skin that is prone to eczema and irritation with a number of ingredients, this never irritates my skin. I know it has gained a lot of hype and it’s absolutely deserved. I’ve been doing some wedding makeup testing since I’m getting married in Nov and this is one of the products that must be used for myself and my wedding party. I did one test without and in the photos the makeup looks so flat and dated compared to the ones with. Buy it, play with it, love it. It’s gone viral for a reason. I was seeing this all over social media so I decided to try it. It is so stunning! I put it underneath my makeup and it gives such a pretty glow. It's easy to use also, but keep in mind a little goes a long way! I used too much my first time and had to rub it on my body but I did shine all over:)

I am all-in on the clean girl aesthetic right now and this stuff gets me there. It makes me look dewy but not greasy. It feels nice and layers well with my sunscreen moisturizer and a tinted foundation. But honestly, I don’t really use foundation when I have this on as I find it evens me out too.

For someone who has sensitive skin it’s very difficult for me to try new products. I was skeptical at first to try this, but after wearing it on my hand and then a small patch test on my face with no breakout or eczema or acne, I decided to buy a bottle (started with the mini). It’s perfect for the summer and wearing it by itself giving you that natural glow for minimal look but maximum results but it’s also perfect under liquid as well as powder foundations (I’ve done both for summer and fall/colder fall leading to winter days). Its ingredients are mainly water (90%?) and you can also pronounce everything else that’s in it, that was a game changer for me. I’ve also used the blush and bronzer, same effect. I love the story behind the company. I love that it’s female owned. I love that they are all about recycling and reducing their product waste. The price point is also there, A bottle for me with two pumps a day lasted me almost an entire summer! A little goes along way! It’s the perfect dew and shimmer / highlight without going overboard even on natural skin with no other products added. A selfie to showcase the look just does not do adjust, it’s stunning in person! I really love that this is not glittery or sparkly at all. I was looking for something understated but with staying power. However, this shade is so subtle that it’s not very noticeable on me. The formula is lightweight and water-based. Not greasy at all. But it wears off easily, so you might end up reapplying a lot.
