I have been using the Sage Bamboo cutting board for a couple of weeks. It is well made and easy to use. I used 3 of the graters and they worked very well. I also like the fact that you can use the mandolin in 2 different positions. This cutting board makes preparing food a lot easier as you can prep your food a day or more in advance and keep it fresh in the containers. I am very pleased with it. This is a nice cutting board. It's great for fist time apartment owners or college students. This is a nice concept. It has everything you need in one package. There's no need to buy knives or bowls because it comes with bowls and a mandolin so it saves space and time for washing dishes. However the design itself could be better. I like the idea of this. But sometimes getting it to the configuration you want is a bit difficult. Or maybe I just need to practice to get the hang of it. The part that holds the shredder broke as soon as I tried popping the piece in. So construction quality needs improvement. Also quality control, since the shredder is slightly to big to fit in the slot. I glued the wood piece back together so we will see how ling that holds. There is another thin piece that goes across the top outer edge that became loose before actually using it. If the bamboo construction was of better quality I would give it 5 stars. ... show more

The item is made with quality materials. It is very heavy and big so if you don’t have alot of storage space it will probably be a problem but I love the design.

I ended up having to remove splinter from the edges of the cutting board (see image #3) and sanding it, and then oiling it before use. No care instructions were included and the wood was dry and splintering. I would recommend checking it well and rubbing it down with oil (I use food-grade mineral oil for oiling all my wooden kitchen utensils). The mandolin slicer, grater and other attachments are very sharp, but do not fit snuggly in the cutout meant to hold them, resulting in a slight sliding movement during use, makes it very easy to cut yourself if your not careful. A folded up paper towel does help to stop the movement. Everything does store nice and neat inside the board. The cutting board funtions very well. Not something I personally would gift to anyone simply because of the shape it arrived in. ... show more
