We have two vehicles and while I know you can strap the carseat in without the base but I just didn't like it especially with my newborn. So we came to Amazon to find a base for our other car and seen this and it was cheaper than ordering from the manufacturer. So glad we seen this and ordered it!

Although this is the correct base and is compatible with our car seat it came missing the adjustable grey piece to level the base. I need the base as I am due in just a few days but would have preferred if the base came with all pieces that are supposed to be included.
