  • Good protection but needs more for the forehead.
Color: Ladybird Blue
Overall not a bad product but needs more forehead protection and more ventilation - my child's head was soaked just after a few minutes wearing this thing. If you check out others, you'll see one with a lot more ventilation.

  • Worth it - would recommend
Color: Ladybird Green
I give this helmet five stars because in my opinion it is the best of its kind. My son is 15 months, a runner/climber, and we have hardwood / stone flooring. We still chase him around and are cautious, but this give us an added sense of security as he tumbles. As you’ll see a similar theme in regards to most reviews here and the one improvement that could be made; the material works in an insulating manner. Despite the holes that probably help release heat, our child will work up quite a sweat within 10 minutes of wearing the helmet. Do I still recommend it? Of course! Just need to be more creative with activities so that your child doesn’t overheat. Better to be protected and this helmet has already been worth the money. ... show more

  • Needs more ventilation.
Color: Dino Green
This product helped our 7mo old while walking. He had very little depth perception at first and kept falling the same way. But the forehead was not covered and he got some knocks right there in front. Also, this will be hot in summer. We could not stop him from sweating in it in our home. Could not use outdoors. Ordered a bike helmet for that. You will need bigger holes to ventilate it. Does not come with cleaning instructions so used tea tree soap to keep a funny smell from forming too badly from all the sweat. Saved him from lots of bad knocks to the head from 8-11months. Worth the money during the winter months when colder, but be careful not to let your baby overheat in summer. The chin strap could also be a slight bit thicker. ... show more

  • Velcro stops sticking & baby can remove
Color: Ladybird Purple
Perfect for protectiong. BUT most babies that k ow how to walk are going to be smart enough to pull the velcro and take the helmet off which is what my baby does. Pluss the velcro stops sticking after a col months of use

  • Every baby should have this!
Color: Ladybird Red
I bought these for my twins after the dr said we had to be careful with my daughter’s head since she’s more prone to concussions. We tried several different helmets and these were the most comfortable and provided sufficient protection. I just wished it came with a face guard as well. Our son is very active and is overly motivated to learn how to run before he can even walk. He falls often and thankfully to this helmet, it probably saved him some thousands of brain cells. He also plays pretty rough with his gentle twin sister so I’m sure she appreciates it as well. ... show more

  • Must have if your little one is very active
Color: Ladybird Blue
I was hesitant to buy the helmet at beginning because of the price (tripled price comparing to other baby helmet), but after using it for one or two months I have to say this is money well spent!! It’s very lightweighted , and really does its job!!( It’s not too hot even though sometimes my active son does get sweaty in it after jumping and moving constantly )My son is 8 months old and really loves to jump and stand up and explore everything. With the helmet on, it calms my nerves at least I know he won’t hurt himself too badly or bump his head against crib. Strongly recommended. ... show more

  • It’s a good helmet, but it has poor ventilation
I got this for my now 11-month-old son. It took him a while to get used to it. Sometimes, he still fights me when I put it on him, but it has saved his noggin a few times. He likes to head bump when he’s upset, and there were times he would swing his head back. One time, he did it while sitting on the couch, and he fell and hit his head on the hardwood floor before I could catch him. At least now, he has protection, and it’s given me peace of mind. The only complaint I have is that there’s no real ventilation in the helmet. The little holes on the side and in the middle aren’t enough to keep his head cool. However, I’d rather he sweat a little then have him seriously hurt himself. ... show more

  • Great design
Color: Ladybird Red
I got the classic red ladybug for my boy and it's super cute. I do wish the strap stayed on a little better. I find that sometimes I have to keep readjusting and velcroing back on. It could be due to the fact that his head is unusually large compared to other babies his age. Otherwise, works great. I've seen him take falls and face plants both with and without his helmet and there is a big difference! He may still cry out if he falls with the helmet on, but more so out of fear than actual pain. ... show more
