The pattern and colors (blues, yellow, cream/off white, grey, black) are subtle and attractive; not dizzying to the eye as some patterns are. The other stitching seems quite durable. Packaging was great! Post-photos I laid a few heavy objects on the edges to help flatten out and have it lay flush to the floor. I read another review that said it disguises stains and I agree 100%. My cats vomit ...hairballs, food. One has regurg issues and the others hairballs during major shedding season. They all go straight for the freaking carpet instead of the hard wood floors. This rug has held up so well to lots of cleaning and I can't even find where a stain is due to its coloration.
