My initial reaction when viewing the partially unpackaged rug was that I had received an inferior product… sparsely woven rug on rough and visible backing. I was astounded given other reviews of the product. Against my better judgement I fully unpackaged and laid out the rug. So Glad I Did!!! I am giving 5 stars for now as it just arrived today. This rug is indeed the softest rug I have ever owned. It arrived 5-days earlier then expected. The rug arrived rolled up so the ends don't lay flat, but over time I have no doubt it will. My dogs seem to love it, of which are the reason I bought this. This is the 3rd area rug I have purchased in a year because of my dogs. It is tough to find something that doesn't show a lot of dirt, easy to clean, and looks nice. I really hope this works. Now even though this rug is fluffy I wouldn't do cannonballs on it. There is a difference between fluffy and plush. It is not overly plush but you don't necessarily feel the hard floor. The media could not be loaded. This rug exceeded my expectations. It is soft and excellent quality. I did get a rug pad but I don’t think it would’ve moved much without it. It does give it a little more cushion. I highly recommend this.
