  • This Safariland holster is going to get me killed when just seconds matter.
Color: STX Basket Weave Black Size: Glock 17, 22, 31 W/ TLR-1HL or Similar Light
I ordered this holster because a lot of guys at my Police Department use it and recommended it. The good thing was it fit my Glock 22 .40 cal gen 4 with TLR-1 HL light but had issues pulling it out of my holster, I tried breaking it in for about a week but still, my Glock wouldn't come out of the holster right away sometimes. The ejection port locking lever was very tough even after trying to break it in I got a callus on my thumb from it and even when I did draw the lever all the way back and drew my gun straight up it would still get caught and still be locked in after fumbling with it for a good 2-5 secs(which may not sound like a lot of time but could mean life or death) sometimes I would have to use both my hands to get it. I had the guys at my department try and look at it and see if they could mess with it or adjust it and they never saw a Safariland holster do this and mine may just be defective and strongly recommended me getting another one or a different one as well as my firearms instructor. for the meantime, I took the ejection port lock lever out and just use the hood lock on it and now I'm able to at least pull it out without it locking up on me. Overall it seems like a nice holster just don't like the fact that it won't come out sometimes right away and it's going to get me killed while on duty. I don't really write reviews but I just wanted to share my experience with it. It could just be that one holster and I may be that one lucky guy who got it but just wanted everyone to be aware that this could happen. ... show more

  • LEO Approved. Not a China Knock-Off.
Color: STX Tactical Black Size: Glock 17, 22, 31 W/ TLR-1HL or Similar Light
The media could not be loaded. I have been using safariland holsters since I started working at my first department. So much so that I bought this level 3 for my off-duty part time security setup, because let’s be honest, LEO doesn’t exactly pay all the bills as fast as I would like. This holster is amazing. Glock 22 Gen 4 with a stream light TLR1. Made sure to show the light name attached in the video. It has the ALS + hood + guard just like it is pictured above. Every aspect works perfect. One of the features I appreciate is the auto-shutoff of the light when re-holstering. I made sure to also show that in the video above. 100% satisfied. ... show more

  • This DOES NOT fit for Gen 5 Glock 17 (Photo is the correct holster)
Color: STX Tactical Black Size: Glock 17, 22, 31 W/ TLR-1HL or Similar Light
My previous review was taken down but this one will be short and simple. If you are searching for the Gen 5 version of this holster, then you need the 6360-8325. I ordered this holster from Amazon and it matches the 6360 but not the -8325 (which is for the Gen5). My Glock 17 with TLR1-HL fit inside until it was time to draw the weapon. I reached out to Safariland and spoke with a representative, and she explained that they are in the works with Amazon about getting a correction on the model and shipping out the appropriate holster to accommodate the needs. She verified that -8325 must show on the model in order for it to work for the Gen 5 version. I searched Amazon for this model and just couldn’t find it, leading me to purchase it somewhere else. The photo above is the CORRECT holster. Other individuals reviewed that they would have to fill down their light in order for it to work but I didn’t want to do that. If you have to alter your gun or light, you have the wrong holster. With this new corrected version, my draw was normal. I didn’t proofread this 🤷🏾♂️ ... show more

  • Glock 17 Gen 5 with TLR-1
Color: STX Tactical Black Size: Glock 17, 22, 31 W/ TLR-1HL or Similar Light
I was searching long and hard for a duty holster for my glock 17 Gen 5. I also wanted to get a light. Lets start off the glock 17 gen 5 fits perfectly with out the TLR-1 light. That being said i put the TLR-1 light on there and it was almost just to hard to put in and pull out for comfort. The reason i went with the TLR-1 is because its an awesome light for the price compared to surefire (witch i think is wayyy overpriced). I started looking at where the tight spots were on the light and i found them. I took some sand paper and sanded the corners off the light to be even with the trigger guard. That is why it was catching because it was just a bees dick to tall to match the trigger guard. Took me about 35 min and then i worked the gun in and out of the holster a bunch of times and now it is perfect. I only put 4 stars because of the inconvenience, but the 30 min i spent in my garage was worth saving the $200 on buying a surefire. Now the gun and light is the perfect setup and i wouldn't trade it for anything else. That being said it might be the same issue with the surefire, i wouldn't know not will i never know because i am not spending half the cost on a light that my gun costed. • IMPORTANT!! NOT GEN 5 FRIENDLY!!!! Do this to make it work
Color: STX Tactical Black Size: Glock 34, 35, with light
Got a gen 5 34 and it absolutely would not work! Gen 4 no problem. So I took the holster apart and finallly found out the internal retention lever was holding it in too tight. I filed down the two little knobs sticking up toward the top of the holster and it worked like a champ. Also the kydex has to be trimmed and filed to accommodate the lefty slide release. Finally got that working and then discovered the rear sights caught on the external retention device (yeah I know fml right). So I filed down the right side of my sights on my gun and got that running smooth too. Holster is bomb proof, been carrying one for years on duty and it has saved mine and more than one suspects life when they tried to take my weapon in fights, it’s more mismarketing on amazon or safariland, they need to label this gen 3-4 ... show more
