People were not kidding when they say this holster is amazing. I feel more confident holstering my gun with the sturdy retention and guard. It does hold with a inforce light or no light at all. Does take practice to draw it quicker since you have to unlock and move the guard then unlock the gun itself. But it's easier after practicing for a bit. I bought this holster for my duty weapon (Smith & Wesson M&P .40). I attached my Olight PLMINI Rail light to the firearm and it fits in the holster perfectly. I’m able to draw the weapon as normal with no hang-ups when bringing it to the ready position. I would recommend it if you happen to be using a rail light similar to mine. Really couldnt wait to get this and then when it showed up it was for a SW 9mm or 40 and I carry A glock 19. I was really disapointed gave it to a friend to use with his gun havent brought my self to buy another. Wish it would have showen up fitting what I have.

Safariland Holsters are definitely top of the line as it shows with the price but worth every penny. Use this holster for my duty Glock 17 Gen 5 with a TLR-1 light and couldn’t be happier with the performance. Only thing I did was remove the thumb guard. Fit my S&W M&P9 with streamlight TLR-1. Only issue was that it doesn't allow u to choose belt loop size. It came with a 2" so I called safariland, and they sent me a 2.25" immediately at no cost.

Great quality, very strong and good retention. You definitely need to practice with this holster if you plan on carrying but it is a great duty holster.
