I stored a 7.5' tree in this. There is lots of room left over. A 9' tree should fit fine. I decided to store a few other small items in the bag with it. Assembly was a pain, but yet easy enough. I'd buy again.

Size was great to keep Ann my Christmas stuff together! Inside: 6 foot tree in 3 pieces, 2x ornament boxes (holds 72 each), 2 boxes of miscellaneous items. The frame is great- exactly what I was looking for. Have to work the bag around the frame. I needed my girlfriend to help with that. Holds shape well. Sturdy fabric- only qualm is that the title pocket on the front is slightly tilted and one of the corners the fabric was sewn too close the the zipper so you can see it pull some. Gonna reinforce that with some glue later on just to be sure. But all in all really good quality! Perfect for what I needed! And the fabric design with the candy cane stipes I know I’ll never have difficulty finding it next year!! ... show more

I love that this has a different design and color from the typical tree bags. It's a great size and holds its shape well, so I was able to tuck additional decorations and holiday paraphernalia in with our tree and stand. The seams are holding up and it zips easily, so I definitely recommend.

Including directions with this item would make it much easier to assemble. The length of the rods make it hard to insert them in the bag and also quite difficult to close the plastic zipper. The straps seem durable and are a good length to make carrying the bag quite easy. After struggling to assemble it, I am generally pleased with my purchase. ... show more

I have a couple other Christmas tree storage bags, and this is by far the thickest and most sturdy, which makes sense if you have a large (and especially if it's expensive) faux Christmas tree that you want to protect. ASSEMBLY TIPS: (1) Lay out the bag and the pieces of the supports, and you'll see there are 3 different lengths. The longest is the lengthwise support. The shortest is the horizontal support. The mid-length is the vertical / height-wise support (if the bag is flat with the longest side on the ground). (2) Assemble the frame INSIDE the bag. It will be a snug fit, and assembling the supports already inside the bag will allow you to pull it taut. (3) Secure the Velcro around the supports to keep the fabric material in place. (4) Zip the bag to fully pull the fabric taut around the supports and get the bag into shape, then open it back up and fill as necessary. ... show more

This bag is a game changer for our Christmas tree storage! Having such a sturdy frame makes it to where we can stand the bag up on it's end, and save so much space in our garage! We are thrilled! As a warning--there are no instructions to put the frame together. It's not difficult to do, but you just have to put your mind to it. The frame pieces are similar to tent poles. We considered putting it together and then trying to fit it into the bag, but ended up putting it together inside of the bag. The bag fits very tightly over the frame, and has velcro straps inside to hold it in place. The bag is made from nice thick material, which should hold up well. Our only concern was that the zipper is so tight around the corners, that it was a little difficult to zip, and it put a lot of strain the zipper in those areas. Having a little more room there would make it better. Speaking of room--the bag easily holds a 7.5 foot tree, as advertised, and you could even put some extra stuff like garland or a topper in there if you wanted to. The handles on either end, as well as the top, really come in handy. The only other thing I wish it had was built in wheels, but the handles do make it easy for either one or two people to carry. Time will tell how the bag holds up, year after year. But so far, we are very pleased with it, and have high hopes! Would definitely recommend it! ... show more

The other bag I had ripped because the quality wasn't as good as this one. This bag is more canvas quality and comes with tent like sticks to make the bag actually square. I have to use two bags since our tree is 12 feet tall so this one is for the biggest half of the tree and it also fits all of our lights and the tub of ornaments as well! ... show more

While this was perfect for my Christmas tree, it was an absolute pain to assemble. It did not come with an instructions on how to put the "frame" together inside the bag. It is big. I did struggle zipping it. As for the smell, I don't think there was a smell to it. For the hassle I went through putting it together and assembling it, I should give it 3 stars, but it doesn't deserve to take a hard hit like that. If you are tired of reusing your Christmas tree box, get one of these. I had plenty of room for my Christmas tree, without having to mush it down and sitting on a box to tape it shut. ... show more
