  • Outstanding Improvement and Putting Aid
Hand Orientation: Right
I like being able to set the putter and then check my alignment from behind the putter. I am pretty good at judging the speed of my puts, but have trouble with alignment. I have not played a round with it yet, but I have tried it out on the practice green at my Country Club. In fact my first test was to go through my normal setup routine, which was to stand behind the ball, judge my line and pick a spot about a foot or so ahead of the ball. Then to take my stance, aligning my putter with my aiming point. I then set the putter and let it stand alone, while I then rechecked my alignment. I found that I was mis-aligned to the left and adjusted the stand alone putter, then took my stance again and made my putting stroke. It went right in. I didn't sink every put after that on different holes, but had no trouble sinking the second on longer puts. Needless to say I really like this putter so far. Frankly, I have always prefered a heavy weighted putter head, so this was no big deal for me. I am somewhat concerned about the durability of the grip, but time will tell. All in all, I would recommend this putter and aren't picky about the weight. I should also say that I seem to be putting straighter with this also, but not sure why this is, but it is true. ... show more

  • Still getting used to it, but it’s staying in the bag
Hand Orientation: Right
I have only used this putter for two rounds and it has given me more confidence . I do like the feel of the putter ( including the grip). I’ve read in other ratings that said the putter head is real heavy but it’s maybe a hair heavier than the two ball putter I’ve used for the last decade. What I did discover was the group I play with plays pretty fast so there really hasn’t been a bunch of holes where I had the time to use it properly without making people wait. Also to my surprise my lag putting has been much better and we have very large greens, a lot more tap in’s. Bottom line I like this putter and it’s staying in the bag ... show more

  • Best putter, I've bought many putters and there is an incredible difference.
Hand Orientation: Right
It's been two months since I bought this product, and I can't live without it.I have a good distance to go. But the direction. I could not make a perfect address. This has caused me a lot of frustration, many times at 1f or 2f.I knew that in many cases, I would end up standing to the right. But I would overdo it, swerve to the left, and repeat the process. This putter can be addressed with a perfect direction, so all you have to do is adjust your body to it. It's a little long for my height, but that doesn't matter anymore. The number of 3 putters has decreased dramatically. The only thing I care about anymore is distance. For breaks, I recommend learning Aim Point. I use my fingers to match the width of the break, and this also works very well with this putter.Seriously, if you want to cut down on the number of putts you have to make, try this!Amazon makes it easy to return, but you won't be sending it back. ... show more

  • Works for me.
Hand Orientation: Right
I saw John Smoltz was using an extremely expensive Bloodline blade to win a tournament, so I thought I would give the S7K blade a try. Bought it used like new for $139. I am a terrible putter mostly because I don't trust my line. I sometimes manipulate the blade during the backswing to align to what I think is right which usually winds up being a push. I then overcompensate and start pulling. I am now chasing a straight putt rabbit down a hole. I putted 500 balls over the past 2 days to test it out and experienced significant improvement. I aligned the S7K as advertised, committed to the putt and started rolling them in. I could instantly tell when I manipulated the putter. The ball rolled fine to me. The head is heavy and has a dead feel to it in comparison to my Ping. I am willing to deal with the loss of feel in order to gain alignment confidence. I'll have to hit a lot of putts to get used to it. I don't think a good putter needs it or will like it due to the feel. Overall I am happy I bought it. I am now looking forward to the league starting up in 3 months. ... show more

  • It’s a rusty putter
Hand Orientation: Left
First, I really like the balance of the putter and I also like the look. It does what they say it does relative to standing up without help. That said, I played my first round with wet turf and some rain and when I pulled the putter out of the head over at the next round, it was covered with early surface rust. When I got the putter, it felt rough, like it had no coating of any kind, and apparently it doesn’t. I will update if they respond and say mine was an anomaly and replace but absent of that, if I had known rust was going to happen, I wouldn’t have purchased. ***Update: To their credit, they quickly sent me a brand new putter to replace the rusty one. In their efforts to quickly get me a replacement, (thank you S7K) they didn't say whether it was unique to this putter and all the others have been properly coated to keep rust off. That said, if the new one comes and it has the same untreated texture, I'm heading to Home Depot to get a small can of rustoleum clear coat for $4 and will treat the head of the putter. Why? I like the shape of the putter. I like a wide bladed putter, and this does it for me. It just seems like the right balance for me and that's why I'm willing to put a little bit of extra effort (albeit effort I shouldn't have to do ) to make this putter work for me long term. I already put in extra effort to get other clubs just right for me.... different grips... lead tape... etc. so taking 90 seconds to spray clear coat on is no big deal for me. But that's me... So I have revised my overall rating from 1 star to 3 because they were quick to replace. They would have gotten 5 stars if they would have confirmed mine must have slipped through the coating process and all other S7K putters are clear coated. I guess the worst thing that can happen is IF you buy it and really like it (like I do) AND you get a little rust, you can spend $9 on a rust removing gel and rustoleum clear coat and with 5-10 minutes of effort, take care of that problem. I hope this review is helpful... hit em straight! ... show more

  • Made an eagle 3 on par 5 first time I used it.
Hand Orientation: Right
It works great, especially on long putts. It rolls the ball very well and it stays on line. On short putts sometimes I would aim wrong but with this putter I can double check my aim.
