I purchased this wheel along with the smooth version. This wheel did a better job for me. I was removing pin striping that was degrading but still very attached. Also removed a 20 year old dealer sticker that I wanted gone long ago. It took a little bit to get used to and to learn the best technique and what not to do. Sometimes lower RPMs worked better, sometimes it needed more speed. I did find it very helpful to run a strip of masking tape above and below my pin stripes while using the wheel. Next I plan to tackle the old safety reflectives residue left on the side of my trailer. I expect that will be a bigger job but I have pretty much a full wheel left after removing the pinstripes. Wear a mask and be prepared for lots of dust! Almost forgot,,,,no one else has mentioned this which I found interesting. No matter which direction I set my cordless drill, forward or reverse,,,,the wheel would unscrew itself every time. I chased it across the yard more than once. I finally put a tiny drop of glue in the adapter threads which took care of that. It should break loose when the wheel needs to be replaced but if it doesn’t I’ll just get another adapter with the next wheel. ... show more

I found that if you have the strength just put this thing on the edge of a sticker and press hard then turn it on slowly. It will want to walk but if you can hold it will rip the sticker right off. It will get hot faster but will also remove faster without removing any paint.

Ive been removing decals and emblems for about a year now and have always went the hard route of goo gone and alcohol but decided to try this. A normal 20 min job takes 3 minutes now and it didnt damage any paint. Love the wheel

Used to remove crappy old pinstripes on an older civic. Worked well. It did leave leave some swirl marks in the paint but they were easily compounded out.

I used this slotted wheel a bit and it works great, but i can already see it wearing with less than 10 mins of use. Removes adhesive perfectly with no scratching. But i think the solid wheel will work just as good while being less jumpy and last longer.

S SATC Decal Eraser; When I bought my car new the dealer had installed a clear plastic door edge guard which although probably not necessary was not a big deal at the time. Over the years the plastic disintegrated leaving behind a stubborn sticky glue residue which turned black from road grime. I tried removing the glue with Goo Gone, Goof Off, WD-40 and everything else I could think of. I stumbled across this product on Amazon and the reviews for this type of product seemed too good to be true ( there are more expensive “name brands “). I usually shy away from no name or less expensive products when there is a name brand option available but I decided for the price difference I would give this a shot. Holy cow was I impressed! I was terrified that this rubbery wheel was going to rip the paint off of my car but it absolutely did not. After just a few minutes I had removed all the sticky goop that had been making me crazy every time I looked at my car. Well worth the money. I don’t know if the more expensive brands are better but I do know this much less expensive one worked great for me. A couple of words of caution, when using this try to keep it flat against the surface you are working on and don’t let the edge grab or dig in. The rubber wheel gets very hot after just a couple of minutes use and you will burn yourself if you don’t keep that in mind. My paint came out like new and didn’t require any additional buffing or polishing. Only a very small amount of the wheel was worn away and it could be used many more times. Definitely recommend. Saved me a ton of money as opposed to having a detailer do it. ... show more
