  • Super Happy with this Dye
Color: Neon
Very happy with this neon tie dye product - so few products are in fact genuine neon colours and this set offers exactly that. Highly recommended.

  • Good product, easy to use, "up to 12 shirts" a bit exaggerated
Color: Girly
First time trying tie-dye, chose this kit because the low water usage. We got this kit and another of the same brand in different colors (3 bottles in each kit) with the intention of doing six XXL t-shirts. This is advertised as "up to 12 shirts", and taking the size of the XXL shirts into consideration, I figured that two kits would be fine. After watching the Youtube videos from this company, we set out (we ended up using zip ties instead of rubber bands) and realized after the first two shirts that we were going to run out, and we did. The last two shirts received minimal dye. In retrospect, I should have diluted the dye after the realization set in, and that would have extended the amount of dye we had. The quality of the product is good. The colors in both kits were very nice and what was expected, and because these haven't been washed yet, I'll edit in a comment on color steadfastness if it fades quickly. Otherwise, figure that the colors stayed in after washing. These come in little pump bottles. Our pumping fingers became tired after awhile; not a negative towards the product but just an observation. the over-spray was a bit hard to control, but with more experience, I'd be better with it. This will not produce the massive blocks of colors that some shirts have. On ours, there is a lot of white from the shirts showing, so the tie dye is like a painting on a white canvas. This is not a bad thing, and we like how these came out, but it wasn't what we were looking for or expecting. They will get a lot of wear, but on the next one, we'll go with the catsup style bottle dye to more fully soak the fabric. Overall, easy to use, minimal mess, will give interesting patterns, should get @ 6 small-ish sized shirts out of it, and can be used on dry shirts. ... show more

  • Spray didn't work
Color: Cotton Candy
Two of the spray nozzles didn't work. They both sprayed a few times but then stopped working. I tried cleaning the straw and spray nozzle but still didn't work. The one that did work... was great! But I purposely bought this BECAUSE it SPRAYED and wasn't the traditional squirter bottle. So I'm kind of disappointed... I tried reaching out to the seller but Amazon didn't give me the option to contact them. I did request a refund butthey wanted me to send the package back UNUSED which is impossible... how else would I have known the sprayer was broken if I didn't use it? So I paid for a SPRAYABLE fabric dye that doesn't spray and couldn't get a refund. Your better off going to the dollar store and buying spray bottles and putting your own dye in them... ... show more

  • Neon ? No. Dries to more a Pastel Neon color.
Color: Neon
Bought this because I've been on a tie dye roll while quarantined at home. It's been fun experimenting. Originally I stuck to using Rit Dye, but found it hard to find a good ratio recipe for SMALL projects. So I thought this would be great to pull out to use on a couple small items (mainly I been dying my own face masks) and then store - ready to use on the next project , seeing as the colors are already mixed and in spray bottles. 1. It IS "easy" to use . (You just spray it like any ol spray bottle) 2. However it is MESSY . Unusually messy, because after maybe 10 sprays my pink bottle's sprayer became clogged and it began to just drip out the sides every time I pressed down on sprayer.... is it broken ? Idk but I haven't figured out how to fix it yet. It's almost UNUSABLE now... after 10 sprays :( sad. 3. Definitely is NOT ENOUGH dye for the "12 shirts" it claims to be enough for. The bottles are small. I would say these are perfect for SMALL items of clothing you want to dye. / small projects. 4. I let the dye set until completely air dried (as reccomend in instructions) and the bright vivid color that initially was sprayed onto my white cotton fabric, lightened in color! It's now more a pastel neon. Not a vivid neon color as it initially LOOKED LIKE. Kinda sad about that. But hey I'm just happy the color stuck at all. (Which was my struggle with using Rit's dye) . I would reccomend this for Beginner Tie Dyers, like myself. It's easy to use. ... show more
